Overpriced and a credit card fee! $12 for a glass of house Chardonnay!

We loved Homestead prior to the Covid lockdown. Great prices and a ton of food. We went tonight for the first time since their reopening. They gave us another tables food (we ordered the same), it was missing my daughter's kids meal. Took them 20 more minutes to bring her meal, only for her burger to be cold. Portions were nowhere near what they used to be. We get the check and wow!!! They charged us $12 a glass for Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Robbery. $5 a glass for the kid's Shirley temples. We realized when got home they also charged a fee for using a credit card, no mention that if we paid cash it would be cheaper. $117 for 4 people (2 are children). The food was not what it used to be and the service was a mess. So disappointing as we like to support local businesses, but it seems their customers are now paying for the renovations and year long closure.

If you don't want your entrées coming out with the appetizers, just give them a heads up, because the kitchen moves fast here. We started with the mushroom dish and a hearty soup...both full of flavor and the perfect start to the meal. Then came the star of the night: the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying, the kind of food that makes you want to go back the next day. The service was on point- Friendly and attentive, and the whole space has this quirky, cozy feel, like you're sitting in your grandma's living room with its mix of chairs and warm, homey vibe. It's also BYOB, which is always a win. We brought a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, Butcher's Grill is a must-visit if you're in the area. Great food, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it stand out. Can't wait to come back!

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

The chicken was seasoned PERFECTLY and so tender, like even the breast was juicy! We also got ribs and they were fall off the bone!! Both were fantastic and perfectly cooked - the mushrooms were fresh (not canned, thank goodness). Also - I'm kind of a sucker for a good crust and this HAD IT ((chefs kiss)). Can't wait to come back!! As a side note -- there are two separate entrances... the front entrance is to the dining room and the back entrance is to the bar.
