a notice sign on a brick wall

Food and service were fine. But the ambiance, the signage, seemed to go out of the way to make me uncomfortable.

I am visiting family in Florence. This is my first visit to this restaurant. There is plenty parking. The menu has breakfast, lunch items and dinners. My Granddaughter and I came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There is not a kid menu. That is disappointing when you have a seven year old. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are good. You seat yourself. The owner has my deepest sympathy because he had two servers call in and two people in the kitchen as well. I must say the owner jumped in and helped with keeping drinks filled and bussing tables. I had two eggs over medium, bacon, biscuit and white country gravy. My eggs were cooked to perfection but cold. Bacon was crisp and tasted good. Biscuits appeared to be made from scratch. The gravy was bland and not very good. I did not eat mine. My Granddaughter had silver dollars pancakes. She ate less than half because it was a serving for an adult. I tasted them and they were good. The syrup is not maple. It was a commercial thin pancake syrup. Real butter is not used. When I paid the check there was a cooler with iced down small bottles of Coke Classic. I bought one and it was so good. The help was friendly with smiles on their faces. Be prepared to pay 3% of your check total if you use debit or credit card. No sign or warning till you get your receipt

I entered the building around 12:30. It is very friendly and shows a very southern manner of design. The personality of the restaurant is open, with friendly staff. Currently, they are impressive with their short staff and show empathy to those that are new to their location. It seems that it is like a seasoned waterhole for locals, instead of a boxed out version of a corporate franchise. There is also a feel of a bygone era, which creeps around the wall, while modern in it's technological use. The ribeye steak was ordered medium rare, which is done to perfection. My suggestion is to eat as is. The A1 will ruin the taste. Enjoy your meal!

All you can eat seafood it's a dream come true!

Great breakfast spot! We loved it, and it's definitely a country style spot - it reminds me of the places I went with my Mamaw and Papaw.

Exploring Florence, we ate lunch at the BBB and thoroughly enjoyed it…read more Right off the bat-- as we walked in I asked my wife if we should ask to sit at the window counter (where we like to sit wherever we go) and the hostess heard me and took us there without asking us-- like she had ESP! And then the waitress was super friendly (like everyone we met in Florence). My wife had the ham po'boy which was grilled like a Cuban sandwich (yay!) and I had the fried shrimp po'boy. Both were excellent. For sides my wife chose a half grapefruit brûléed and I had marinated tomatoes. I remember having sugar on a half grapefruit as a kid, but bruleed? Epic! I loved the big wall in the front dining area-- half of a Cessna airplane on the wall, superimposed on a blueprint painting (see photo). Very creative. We'll be back!

Service efficient and really pleasant and helpful. Buffet scrambled eggs were the low point - clearly Industrial powdered eggs - but they'll happily make you fresh eggs or a great omelet. So long as you get good eggs, the bacon, sausage, gravy biscuits, etc from the buffet are breakfast worthy. Else order off the menu, it'll be a good plate of food as well. Probably the tastiest thing about any breakfast in Alabama will be the Conecuh sausage - If you're not already a fan, do give it a try (just order sausage in Alabama, it'll be Conecuh!). Wherever you travel, those local specialties are worthy of your attention.

My fav was the She Crab soup , surprisingly way tasty. The 4 cheez 'za a total standout at our table; The Chicken Caesar was also nice. Do wanna come back and def try their mythical flatbread chick 'wich. Sits @ a Marriott w tons o parking.

They offer a drive through but I was curious about the vibe inside so I popped in to look around while I waited for my drink. I'm glad I did -- the decor was super cute, especially all the corgi themed stuff. Lizzie, I presume? She's adorable. The employees were fine. I didn't feel especially welcome but they weren't rude either. My drink came out in a timely fashion and the price was comparable to other specialty coffee drinks at other shops. I got the "Almost Famous" Nutella s'mores latte. The smaller size was still plenty for me. It was good! I don't know that I got a ton of s'mores or specifically Nutella flavor, but I'd definitely say it had a mocha-esque vibe and that was all I really required of it, lol. I enjoyed it! Smooth and silky feel too. Worth a try if you're in the area!

I understand upcharging for non-dairy (good ole allergy tax) but their upcharge is also more than any other place.
