The shop is laid out very attractively like a country store or someone's front room. Think Cracker Barrel but real antiques. A mantle clock caught my eye and I found that it had belonged to the owner. It is a beautiful Howard Miller clock that chimes. I picked it up for a very reasonable price and did not even try to negotiate. She asked me if I had heard it chime and I said no. Well I put in the car and took off for home. I was thinking about the road and stuff I needed to get done. Well that clock started chiming and was very LOUD in my little car. I almost ran off the road because I was so startled.
