Everything seamed very old and grimy, but there were a few Disney items and some older action figures people might like. The prices seemed high for the quality, but I don't see anything I would have taken even if it were free. Many DVDs, clothes, frames, but not organized to make it easy to look for specific items. This little shop apparently started out to be just what it's name states but has grown into so much more. The owners here are so welcoming which I found to be very refreshing, I have visited a number of clock shops over the years and have found the owners to be so focused on their craft that they come off as pretentious- definitely not the case here. This quaint little shop is filled with things from the past, most seem to be of higher quality but there are somethings that may have slipped by the owner's keen eye and are displayed for those of us collectors that look for the lesser valued items that are so rare to find in our field of collecting. I feel I have a decent eye for things of value and rarity so this visit although I didn't find the treasure I was looking for provided me with the anticipation all collectors live for. It is a smaller thrift store, but the items and customer service were amazing finds! Everyone we interacted with were so kind and helpful! They had a variety of clothes, home goods, cards, crafts and more! The pricing was very fair too! I am excited to come back to see what other treasures we might be able to find! Something that I really liked about this thrift store was their ability to give back to the community. It seemed as though there were other services that Second Chance Thrift Store might be affiliated with, such as food donations. They also had an area where if you had items to drop off to donate, you could do so. I love knowing that my donations are going into a more community based organization rather than a large corporation like goodwill. I've been here three times the last month and everytime there is a wait. There is only one person working the register and 5 people stocking the aisles. The last time I went one lady saw it more fit to sweep the floors by the registers instead of helping the line. Finally when she was done sweeping she helped customers but your customer should be your priority. There was a man working and he was so sweet but again, really clueless , messed up my exchanges and orders , over charged me , couldn't give me a refund or credit and manager had to be called twice .
