A mantle clock caught my eye and I found that it had belonged to the owner. It is a beautiful Howard Miller clock that chimes. I picked it up for a very reasonable price and did not even try to negotiate. She asked me if I had heard it chime and I said no. Well I put in the car and took off for home. I was thinking about the road and stuff I needed to get done. Well that clock started chiming and was very LOUD in my little car. I almost ran off the road because I was so startled. Haha I am definitely going back to this store. I love their aesthetic and the owners were very friendly and nice. I have my eyes on additional antiques and I love a deal.

It is just a short walk to the historic Dundee depot museum. After being cheerfully greeted I was left to explore. As I looked around I was impressed with the artful arrangement and staging of furniture, art, and household goods throughout several rooms. Some of my favorite finds were the many vintage Christmas decorations, especially the sweet deer, beautiful furniture, a wreath made out of succulents and flower pots, and the adorable rabbit ornaments that adorned a tree. Prices ranged from just a few dollars to many hundreds. There is so much to see here that brings back memories. Find a one of a kind gift or that perfect piece to finish a room.

My wife and I were looking for a very specific couch and my wife demanded that we get a white leather couch to match the rest of our living room. When I asked the furniture specialist on where I could find such a couch, he immediately showed us the variety of couches they have in store along with a catalog to show us what options are available at the warehouse. Lastly, the delivery men were exceptional in getting the couch into a small apartment without damaging the couch or our apartment. They even gave us a cleaning product to keep the couch looking brand new for years to come. Overall, great shopping experience. We will be going back!

This little shop apparently started out to be just what it's name states but has grown into so much more. The owners here are so welcoming which I found to be very refreshing, I have visited a number of clock shops over the years and have found the owners to be so focused on their craft that they come off as pretentious- definitely not the case here. This quaint little shop is filled with things from the past, most seem to be of higher quality but there are somethings that may have slipped by the owner's keen eye and are displayed for those of us collectors that look for the lesser valued items that are so rare to find in our field of collecting. I feel I have a decent eye for things of value and rarity so this visit although I didn't find the treasure I was looking for provided me with the anticipation all collectors live for. Think French country estate, not french farmhouse. We had nearly given up, when we found French Furniture Orlando! The Owner, Isaac, and his son Nathan, were great! Isaac was extremely helpful and very patient with us. My fiancée could not decide on the fabric and he helped us to find the right selection to match our other furniture and feel of the décor. He even offered up suggestions that would save us money, rather than what most companies do and try to upsell you to spend more. The furniture is made in Italy and will take 4-6 months to arrive, but it is worth the wait! What does a few months matter when you have a beautiful, unique and quality piece that will make a statement in your home and you will enjoy for 20 year to come?! So far, our experience with French Furniture Orlando has been exceptional! I will update this post in 4-6 months once I receive the furniture and let you know how I feel then. But so far....so GREAT!
