I thought it was arthritis but a lump the doctor noticed she said she felt sure was cancer. She said she may lose control soon I had to make the horrible decision to let her go. They could not have been more been more wonderful. The bill was quite high but told me before I left there was an over charge. I would have never known that nor did I ask how much. Turned out to be 200 and it was credited back. I received the sweetest card a week later. Everyone signed and I could tell they knew how much we adored our mollie.

Thankfully was able to pick her up same night with responding to fluids and meds well. Upon pickup, I did not get to meet the doc that took over her case, but the tech did go over everything with me in detail on how to follow up on all needs. Overall, I had a great experience.

Our family had one of the worst experiences imaginable at this veterinary office…read more We brought our 2-year-old cat in because he was having pain while urinating. He was diagnosed with FLUTD and prescribed a pain/anti-inflammatory medication. We were told this was a lifelong condition that would require prescription food and carried a risk of recurring urinary problems. Five days later, he wasn't improving, so we brought him back. At that visit, he was prescribed an additional pain/anti-anxiety medication and a topical treatment. Up to that point, everyone had been kind and helpful. Four days later, he suffered a complete urinary blockage. We were told he would need to be unblocked at York Veterinary Hospital and then transferred to an emergency hospital for 3-4 days of hospitalization, with the total cost being several thousand dollars. Unfortunately, this was simply not something our family could afford. Before making our decision, we called local rescues and the animal shelter to see if we could surrender him so he could receive treatment, but no one was willing to take him because of his condition. After exhausting every option we could think of, we made the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanized. Instead of compassion during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced, the veterinarian became visibly upset with our decision. Despite my husband repeatedly explaining that we could not afford the recommended treatment, she began crying, accused him of being rude, and stormed out of the room. This all happened in front of our 15-year-old son, making an already devastating situation even more traumatic. Another veterinarian then came in to help us. She explained that even if we had proceeded with the blockage treatment, there was still a possibility our cat might not survive because of the trauma his body had already endured. With the exception of one staff member, who was not a vet, our family was made to feel judged and guilty during an incredibly painful experience. No family should be treated that way while making such a heartbreaking decision. To make matters worse, we were charged over $500 for the euthanasia. Due to the way we were treated we will never bring another pet to this office.

They were recommended by a neighbor who used to work for a veterinarian. We saw Dr. Graham, right on time. Mr. Lucky immediately took to the doctor, acted very friendly towards her with no signs of stress. The appointment was for his annual physical, no shots needed. The doctor checked his vitals, felt him all over, checked ears, butt, legs, and said he was fine, next year he'd be due for one of his every 3 year shots. In and out in less than 20 minutes, very pleasant experience. Definitely recommend.

I've been in Asheville a very long time and I've heard things over the years. I just chose to go there because I like Dr. Cowan and it's close to my house. I found out yesterday my cat of 10 years is dying and it was a whirlwind of emotions and information and I was at there for hours. Today there are 2 charges on my bill that were not discussed with me for a total of about $50. Out of the close to $1000 I've spent of everything it's not much but it is to me! She actually antagonized me on the phone so much I was shaking and my blood was boiling!!! Seriously? After the day we had yesterday to be met with no compassion or care. It was honestly sinister. She kept putting words in my mouth and twisting what I was saying. I felt this wasn't her first time doing this to someone. It was sick. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. I'm disgusted and disappointed. I hope that woman Allison Duggan gets fired and never works in a position dealing with people ever again!

My kids it seemed got along well with her Paw Kids. Imagine our surprise when we found our kids with hers. We were shocked and excited. You just feel like the dogs are minded well and loved. We will return. Our dogs seemed happy and not at all eager to leave their canine camp-out! There were injuries on many dogs that were covered up, and honestly I'm not sure if the owners ever knew the real cause of them. The play equipment and the yard in general was hazardous in many ways. Me and the other employees I worked with did care for the dogs but could only do so much about how it was actually ran...also employees were just straight up jipped and were never paid our full weeks worth of pay. Everyone I worked with at the time was suddenly let go for no real reason after all the chaos. I absolutely do not recommend this dog daycare by far. This "business" is not ran by dog professionals who know what they are doing. Please do your fur baby a favor and take them someplace else.
