Who has the BEST VET ever???? Tizzy does! Dr. Hurlbert at Healthpoint is simply the best. Tizzy was diagnosed with pancreatitis over a week ago. We couldn't even get her out of her bed. Her WBC was 24,000 when it should less than 12,000. Friday before last she was on 10 hours of IV fluids and antibiotics. Dr. Hurlbert called everyday checking on her. By Sunday, she was running around and doing her Tizzy dancing. Friday afternoon at 430 she had her follow up bloodwork. I was told I wouldn't get her results back until Tuesday because of the holiday. Well, guess what Dr. Hurlbert just called me her numbers are coming down. She is still Tizzy dancing, running around and acting like her crazy self. No need for a follow up on antibiotics and fluids. This is the best news. Side note...she even let her Daddy cut her hair today. read more

Took both of my dogs in today for a Rabies shot which it what was scheduled I don't like being nickel and dimmed to death which is what this place does. Both of my dogs are brother and sister and have been to the vet on a regular basis and I was charged today 436.00 for the 2 of them that was just supposed to be a visit for rabies. I have a 3rd dog that I took to another local vet probably larger than this one and I had the identical same stuff do to here it was $75.98 So the way I look at it if you want someone to nickel and dime you to death here your vet, all I ask it to be straight forward and honest. They also did not get my records for the other vet but so only did a 1yr on one of my dogs vs the 3yr. This is a shady way to do business. I did attach the receipts also just fyi. read more

Took my 22 yr old African Grey Parrot for a well bird check and a trim. They hit Baileys skin during the trim. She is now having trouble perching and they have not even called to check on her. 07-06-20 update: Dr Wiltsie called me about Bailey. She was not aware of the issues that Bailey was having due to her trim injury. Since Bailey is swelling, she offered to X-ray her leg to find out what is going on. 07-07-20 update: Bailey has a bone infection. Dr Wiltsie is giving her medication. Hopefully, she is on her road to recovery. 08-18-20 update: Bailey's foot never recovered and had to be amputated. It just breaks my heart that my sweet Bailey has to go through this nail clip gone wrong. They offered to pay for surgery but they did enough damage. I took her to an Avian Specialist to have her toe removed. read more

What a group of wonderful doctors & staff! From the first phone consultation Dawson was great with me & my continental giant rabbit Elsa! On a Friday too! Worked us in! Unfortunately for us it was a fractured hip & needed amputation of leg & would require lots of indoor care & was in way too much pain so I felt it was better to let her go but may I just say they did all they could & helped me so much! I will be returning to them with my others! And changing over the Anatolian shepherd/ Pyrenees records too! They also see chickens! You don't think about it much until the need happens & then not to be able to take them to your vet that you see on a regular! Thanks for being there in my time of need! That goes a long way in my book! read more

Had a first visit yesterday with our Pug. Absolutely wonderful experience. I wish I found them sooner. Entire staff is pleasant and smiling. Even though there were a lot of cars in the parking lot, the lobby wasn't packed or hectic like other clinics. They bring you back to a private exam room quickly. Shawnese our tech and Dr. Wiltsie were fantastic - both well educated and informative, answering all our questions. In a single well visit they did labs, shots, nail clipping and exam with efficiency and caring attitude. Everyone we met in the halls seemed happy to be working there. Office clean and professional. We'll be back with our hyper pup. read more

We absolutely love this vet. Everybody is so nice and wonderful with our pets. They are really good at keeping you educated and informed. You can tell everyone there absolutely loves animals. The prices are very reasonable. We used to go to Banfield for our dog but since coming here we definitely feel like we get more of a personable connection. read more

The clinic is almost like a spa for animals in so many ways. It smells wonderful, is so clean, and is so inviting and careful with all of their patients!! The team is just so genuinely kind and wanting to help; I've never been around such a nice, wonderful, genuinely caring group! They were able to squeeze me in last minute and flawlessly perform a surgery that several other vets tried to do and couldn't even start. Because if this staff, my bun was able to beat the odds.
