The cashier asked another employee to come over to help - this other employee was stocking some items & would not come over. The line kept growing. After at least 10 minutes, the cashier asked this employee again to come over & help - the checkout line had about 6 customers waiting. Reluctantly, this employee finally came over to assist - she was not friendly or apologetic - she acted like we, the customers, were a nuisance. And that is what shopping at Ollie's is like.

From beautiful art to clothing and home decor, for me, this is the pinnacle of a Cleveland themed store. They carry unique themes of local pride amongst the merchandise. For example, as of December 2020 they have a super cute Parks collection portraying nature gems. You can even find coffee, cigars and jewelry. They are always changing their merchandise out and always have sales online and in their immaculately organized store. Seriously, this place just makes me so happy! I'm always drawn to their art though, which is modern, sleek and makes reference to Cleveland history. As a boater, I've loved buying different nautical themed items here. From "Don't Give Up The Ship" mugs and stickers to sailing art prints, I've bought several lovely gifts here for other boaters and sailors in my life. Time to tell the world after visiting Wild Iris a few times now! AMBIANCE: Wild Iris is a two-story building that features multi-room shopping on the first floor and event space on the second floor. Both spaces are tastefully staged. You can really picture how the items would look in your own home and get new decoration ideas. The store is comprised of multiple rooms with an assortment of home decor. There is no particular separate theme (such as housewares in one room). There is a kids room, but other than that every nook has home decor, clothing, skincare, jewelry, housewares, and more. It's fun to walk around the space and look for treasures. The event space is available for rental for events and photoshoots. During my last visits there for shopping and entrepreneurial events, the event space had industrial chic look and plush couches. The space was very presentable for a professional yet stylish setting. There were plenty of spaces to sit down and network. I'm not confident whether this space is decorated for the holiday for your photoshoots or events, check with the venue. INVENTORY: The inventory looks refined and expensive. Yet there are plenty of finds under $40 for gifting or self-splurging. The store has seasonal gifts for every occasion. The store currently has ample Christmas inventory - decorative pillows, Christmas ornaments, faux gingerbreads, Christmas China, deer decor, and more. Called customer service number ti see if, I could return at this location. Was told I could. One there, had an issue with not wanting to give me the original payment method. This store wanted to give me a gift card when I had the original receipt with tags. Manager Steve acted as if he wanted to fight as was very rude. Very poor customer service. In fact, he taunted me an encouraged me to call corporate on him and file a complaint. I took his advice.
