Our septic had backed up and overflowed and after handling all the damage control we needed someone to come and pump. Now, a little background here. I have experience working with contractors and handymen on 2 continents, and I have been fighting the Yelp battle for good service for over a year now, whilst I tried to get my house ready to sell. Also, keep in mind that this was the last week of the year, and most businesses were shutdown for the holidays. That being said, and this is going to sound funny, but it was the people who pumped my septic who gave me the best customer service I've ever received. No joke. Andrea (who handles the appointments over the phone) was warm, personable, and SO very considerate. She said they were pretty well booked, but when I explained my emergency, she somehow managed to fit me in just before the weekend! She kept me updated every step of the way. When Austin (hope I got his name right) arrived, he was the ideal of what everyone who hires a contractor hopes arrives at their home. He was on time, courteous, professional, friendly. He dug up the holes without any complaint. (Which wasn't easy, as I was his fourth customer of the day, and there were roots like you wouldn't believe.) And he chatted with me like we were old friends while he took extra time to rinse out the effluent tank. They really are just a small family, business, I found out, who own the truck and decided to go into this line of work after their own septic 'refunded' on them. TLDR: All in all, DFW Septic did everything right, and I only wish they were in a different line of work, so I could call upon their services more often!

It took nearly four months just to get someone to our property after receiving a newly engineered plan for our septic lines. Despite multiple promises of return calls from Kim and another office staff member, we were constantly met with silence and delays. I finally had to become more assertive just to get a response and schedule service. When the crew arrived, they mentioned that our irrigation lines could be damaged during the job but claimed they would do their best to avoid it. Unfortunately, I watched them drill across our entire 0.7 acre lot without marking anything beforehand. They later flagged three damaged irrigation lines, but when inspected and repaired, there were actually over six cuts, along with electrical wiring damage. Now we are left with an unfinished job and nothing but excuses and back and forth communication from Josh, Kim, and their customer service team. To top it off, the third party contractor they hired kicked empty water bottles into the open trenches, and I had to go outside and ask him to clean up his own trash. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Find a company that values professionalism, communication, and respect for their customers. Ledford is not it.

There have consistently been portable toilets and mobile hand washing stations available. Based on the demand and number of workers, there has always been a cleaning and pumping schedule for the company that owns and services these units. I have not encountered a situation like the current one involving Gilbert Environmental porta toilets rental at the Wolf Hollow Power Plant. There have been concerns regarding the cleanliness of the toilets and the functionality of the hand washing stations provided by Gilbert Environmental. The toilet rooms have not been cleaned since the project began on February 20, 2025, and as of March 24, 2025. This situation requires immediate attention for health and hygiene reasons. The project has approximately 150 personnel split into day and night shifts. A call was made to Gilbert Environmental based in Granbury, Texas, but no action was taken regarding our concerns about cleanliness. The soap dispensers at all wash stations are currently inoperative, necessitating the procurement of bottles of liquid soap by the project company to maintain proper hand hygiene for both workers and visitors. Despite the waste tanks of the toilets being pumped, an unpleasant odor persists due to inadequate cleaning of the interior walls and floors of the mobile toilet units. I am not only dissatisfied with the lack of service but also perplexed as to how the company expects not to be cited by state or federal laws and/or nonpayment under these circumstances.

He stayed to test the system ensuring the sprinklers, alarm and pump would work when they were supposed to. He was courteous, explained everything and left me feeling like the problem that two other businesses didn't bother addressing or care to address was addressed. My experience with 3 different septic companies is that this is the place to call if you want something done timely and correctly. I say preliminary review only because the work was just completed. I would recommend calling this place at least for an estimate. Thanks: Update: 7/16/20: Victor is a class act. I was having issues that a previous business refused to address. I contacted Victor who came out 2 hours later AS HE STATED HE WOULD. Fixed the problem for me immediately.
