It's the first place i go when i need a 'thing' and i'm not sure where to find it because they usually have it and if they don't they tend to know somewhere that does sell that 'thing' i'm after. There are always plenty of staff knocking about re-stocking so if you have any questions you'll easily find someone to ask. The prices are very reasonable and it's just a very handy store.

Once in there, you'll find the screws, bulbs etc more associated with an ironmonger's at the back of the store. Their electric appliances can be good value but do check that it will meet your needs. They may not be as powerful as machines you purchase elsewhere. My favourite purchase from here has been my kitchen gas gun. This is the only place I can find the butane gas refills so they've got a repeat customer for life!
