After 2 months of trying everything and still waking up every couple of hours to a baby who would cry seemingly for hours I finally reached out to Sweet Dreams LA for help and my only wish is I had done it sooner. Not only did Kimberly come in and give us 2 nights of uninterrupted sleep which we hadnt had in 6 months, when she left she left us with a baby who was sleeping 10 hrs and a plan to slowly get him to a 12hr night with a wake up time that worked with our schedule. We also had a map of how to transition from a 3 to a 2 nap schedule and guidance on how to handle our upcoming travel. I went from feeling anxious and exhausted to feeling in control and prepared in a matter of days. And if that wasn't enough she was an absolute delight to have around for a couple of days, even my 6 year old daughter said she was going to miss her when she left. We're a month out and I'm happy to report my husband and I are catching up on sleep and starting to be able to organize our lives around some very predictable naps. To anyone on the fence about doing it, just pull the trigger. Your sleep and happy rested baby are most definitely worth it.

Since 2001, I had visited multitude of Doctors and Surgeons and had multiple procedures to my Neck and throat to treat my condition, all of which had some temporary relief, but mot quite done the trick. I had visited 6 or 7 sleep disorder specialist up and down the West coast. I was fortunate enough to finally meet Dr. Eric Kezirian, early 2015. From the get go, it was all about what was right for my specific condition, all kinds of tests and findings. Dr. Kezirian always explained the procedures, and the office staff the associated costs. No surprises. Dr. Kezirian and his staff (even though they didn't have to ) went through a grueling 18 months battle with my health insurance company to try and get me approved for the Inspire device and even worked harder to help me find sources that would offset some of the costs associated with my surgery. (Not quite sure how, but at some point I received a letter from the Congress in Washington, ordering my Insurance Company to approve the Inspire Device for me. I imagine Dr. Kezirian and his team had a lot to do with that !) I have now had the device for over a year, and my sleep apnea is well under control. The Good Doctor and his team have been a life saver, and I cannot say enough about his exceptional approach to patient care. Thank you all at the Keck School of Medicine for all that you have done for me and my family thanks you.

My sleep doctor referred me to Dr. Kezirian, and I'm so incredibly grateful she did. First off, though my time with them was brief, I really liked the doctor's office staff. During out meeting, Dr. Kezirian went over the the possible causes of my issue and explained that he would need to do a sleep endoscopy to find out specifically what was happening. Not only did he not rush through time with me, but listened to all my questions - without cutting me off! - and answered all of them clearly. Once he discovered the specific cause of the problem, he told me which methods might help, their pros and cons, and finally we landed on implanting the Inspire device as the best option. In zoom meetings leading up to the out-patient procedure, he again explained what would happen, answered questions (even a couple I'd already asked, and gave me information about what would happen post-op. Everything went extremely well! Also, I cannot give enough compliments to the staff at the UCLA Santa Monica Outpatient Surgery Center, where both the sleep endoscopy and the device implantation were done. Every nurse, technician, and doctors who I met and took care of me pre- and post-surgery were just awesome. It is not hyperbole when I write that, truly, Dr. Kezirian is one of the best doctors I've had. If you are in need of help with this severe condition, I could not make a stronger recommendation.

I have issues with my neck and back and had some problems with my face. Before his exam he questioned me and went over his list of past meds and issues etc. through his questions his attitude seemed rude and just thought he knew it all. I had told him I couldn't wear my retainer due to severe neck issues that I have and he proceeded to make me wear the retainer and I kept telling him my neck hurts and gets very tight with it but he responded with I don't buy it you have to wear it. After 5 minutes I took it off and was in more neck spasms than before mind you I came to his office with 10/10 neck pain and my neck was In spasms through his whole inspection. He proceeded to check my jaw and everything he had to do which was your average check up of jaw and few tests. What really was upsetting about this doctor is he was questioning me about what I'm going to do in life and said and I quote "what would you do if your parents were in New York and you had to work". This was extremely unprofessional on his part to say that and made me very upset and my mom was crying as she was with me during this appointment. I deeply regret coming to this doctor as nothing positive had been done and it just emotionally put me in a bad state. I basically paid $800 for nothing he was more worried about my personal life then actually helping me with my pain. Rich should not even be called a doctor he is nosy, rude, and arrogant . He doesn't listen to anything I was telling him . He basically tells me he doesn't buy anything I'm telling him even though I'm in severe pain and he saw everything that was happening to me. Go see a different doctor Rich is not the one. Waste of my time and the 2 hour drive.

Dr. Goodman has been caring for my son and I for over two years now for ADHD/ADD treatment. I never…read morethought to write him a review about his medical practice until now. I've read all the reviews posted on Yelp and feel that he and Suzzie are misjudged. Dr. Goodman is an outstanding doctor and very caring as well. At first he may come off as not a very social person and/or arrogant. But he really isn't. My son and I have seen several different Psychiatrists for treatment and I will say, that these types of doctors (especially the better ones) are extremely busy and have many other patients that they treat so one shouldn't expect more than what they are seeking and paying for. One should also take into consideration that other patients may have more serious and life threatening disorders so relax and plan your visits accordingly, make sure you ask Suzzie questions before your appointment, and make sure you have your form of payment. Most psychiatrists are arrogant anyway. And if the relationship between your doctor and you aren't a match than it's best for both parties to separate. This happened to me with a previous psychiatrist. She dismissed us because 1. I had a hard time understanding her English and she would get frustrated repeating herself, and 2. Her office biller had a difficult time getting my insurance to pay on time every month. Our relationship only lasted 3 months. But Dr. Goodman is very patient. His time is money and not only does he care for his patients but he's also running a business. This is his business people! I made it late to my appointment with him on two separate occasions. He wasn't happy, but he wasn't rude either and he still kindly saw me after making me wait until he was able to squeeze me back in. He has directed me and my son to many articles written about him, articles and blogs he's written, books he's written, books/articles about our diagnosis, his research and websites that my son could read up on about his ADHD. My son is 14 years old now and really likes Dr. Goodman and prefers him over all his past psychiatrists. Dr. Goodman's conversations with my son are always supportive, motivating and humerus for a boy his age. Goodman has been very accommodating and we always enjoy our conversations with him during our visits. He also is able to provide teleconference calls for medication management which is a huge PLUS! Telepsychiatry is incredibly popular, in part because of the nation-wide shortage of available psychiatrists, and because psychiatry often does not require the same physical exams of the medical field. I'm assuming this option is on a per patient basis based on the patients health diagnosis and safety as well. But if eligible, you can skip the office visit and schedule a call for your monthly appointment for up to 3 months in a row. You then have to come into the office again after your three teleconference scheduled calls before you can make another teleconference appointment. I now see him in person only 3 times a year. He also got my son and I sleeping normally again after only needing Neurontin for less than a year. We've been sleeping well off of it for more than a year now. ADD/ADHD is well managed for us, unlike before for me, trying all different types of meds that weren't a good fit for me. About Suzzie Suzzie has a tough job. She deals with billing, insurance companies, patients that are delightful and not so delightful, manages the schedule of a well sought out popular Los Angeles Psychiatrist, and manages the needs of the practice and general upkeep of the business. She doesn't have time to fight with a patient nor does she want to im sure. If Goodman doesn't want to see you for whatever reason, it's his decision and her job to communicate that back. That's not so easy. Suzzie is usually really nice. She does sound over busy and stressed at times when there are a lot of calls coming in. So she might be quick with you but not rude. She is quick and to the point. No nonsense are they both, like a previous yelper stated. I once had a card issue, and Suzzie politely called me and left me a message about it. I did not get any attitude from her when I called her back to update with a new one. I also recall my first visit having a card problem and Goodman was very understanding and just let me leave asking me to just call Suzzie in the morning to settle my copay. Suzzie and Goodman (I didn't know they were married or if that's just gossip) have been understanding and accommodating with me on more than 2 occasions and they did not terminate the relationship because of those incidents. So I guess it depends on your attitude and temper. But I think if you are a patient that is in several ways problematic by causing more followup work in more ways than one, they will end the relationship and that's not unreasonable of them or any business to do so. Thank you Suzzie and Dr. Goodman for all you do.

I want to be clear: the doctor is not the one running this office. His receptionist is. She handles…read morethe scheduling, the billing, the communication -- all of it. And she does it with the warmth and professionalism of a collections agency that also happens to hate you personally. When you're an in-network provider, you don't get to freelance your own pricing on the side. That's not how insurance contracts work. But the billing isn't even the worst part. The practice cut me off. No refills on psychiatric medications I'd been on for a long time. No referral. No phone call. No plan. Nothing. They took the money and vanished. For a practice that manages medications where stopping abruptly can cause real medical harm, this isn't just negligent -- it's reckless. Every negative review on this page mentions the same receptionist. At some point, the pattern stops being a coincidence and starts being the business model.
