While not very pedestrian friendly in the immediate vicinity, there is easy access to the high speed rail, the subway and nearby neighborhoods are a short taxi ride away. My fiancée was pregnant and we had a few ideas in mind. We sent our ideas a month before the session and Emilio knew exactly what we wanted. The day of the photoshoot went by super fast. We were lucky enough to have Kelly assisting Emilio with all the light settings. We were super happy to have test out all our ideas! The photoshoot was so fun that we said that we have to come back to Asia after Cedrick's birth for another session! In January 2018, we took a trip to Taipei, Taiwan. I got in touch again with Emilio asking him if it was possible to have another photoshoot this time in Taipei. Emilio and Kelly were kind enough to fly there for us. Again, we had a blast and Emilio took so many precious shots of our 8 months old Cedrick. The session went by so fast that we decided to have a later dinner together to catch up on life! The location of the hotel is convenient as there is a 24hr supermarket just beside it. Moreover, you are a short walk from the MTR station. There are shops and restaurants also located around the hotel which makes it really convenient! The hotel lobby is dim, moody, and chic when you enter (with strong AC) and there were always staff present to answer our questions. At the front of the hotel there is a small area for drop off or to grab a taxi. Rooms are spacious where there are amenities like a safe, iron/ironing board, nespresso machine with coffee pods, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, etc. available. During our stay at The Park Lane, staff were friendly and we were able to do an early check in (checked in at 7am in the morning!). Housekeeping always kept our amenities stocked and the room clean. We had no complaints and enjoyed the harbour and city view we got. In terms of hotel facilities, there was a gym and sauna located on the 5th floor. The gym was small but had several cardio machines, free weights and several machines. I went to the gym several times where it did get busy one morning. The gym also provides you with towels and they also have a refillable water station as well. Inside the lockers at the gym you can find showers, a sauna, and resting areas. We didn't have time to check out the bar at the top floor of the hotel which gives great views of the HK harbour. Overall, a great stay in Hong Kong where the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future!

We are Marriott Titanium Elite members, but this was our first time booking through the Chase portal instead of our usual Marriott Bonvoy app. Initially, it felt like our status didn't matter, the city view room we were assigned was very dated and faced an old building roof. We were quite shocked given the price and the 5 star hotel, it felt more like a 3 star experience. ​ However, the service recovery was outstanding. Florence from the front desk stepped in and completely transformed our trip. She gave us the option to move us to a beautifully updated room with stunning views of Victoria Park and the Causeway Bay waterfront. Even though it was a King room, she quickly arranged a roll away bed for us and ensured our Executive Lounge access was honored. ​Another highlight of her service came later, we had headed downstairs to buy some snacks, but my 10 year old son didn't want to join us, so he stayed back in the room. While we were out, he realized he couldn't find his iPad and actually called the front desk for help! I was shocked to hear he did that, but so relieved and impressed that Florence personally went up with a colleague to assist him. It's that kind of genuine care that makes a hotel stand out. We would definitely return, provided we're in one of the renovated rooms.

They really look into the catering needs of Hong Kong and had come up with ways to fill that void: individual bento boxes, to-go canapés with nice, disposable packaging for no sweat entertaining, large platters to share and creative and healthy kiddy fare. If you need extra utensils they can even rent it to you at a fee. Want more drama in your otherwise blah home dinner? Relish also rents out themed flatware and chinaware as well as centerpieces. Big or small parties, they have you covered. I've once used them for an office event where I bought their whole leg of ham with homemade gravy to share, plus a few selections of to-go canapés that were packed in a sturdy cardboard box with sections to hold each piece individually. Because everything was presented so nicely on arrival all I had to do is lay them on the table and open the boxes. From the empty plates I can confirm my colleagues loved the food. The ham was a crowd pleaser and I had a colleague ask for the bone to take home so he can use it to make stock! This is a great caterer and as you know, great things don't come cheap. Relish has been taking over the catering for the art gallery crowd so that's sort of an endorsement for its food presentation (at least), if not for its quality.

Not a single speck of dust or unwanted hair. I can feel that the carpet was shampooed. We booked the Family Plus: - one bedroom with a King Size bed. - two twin beds. - two desk areas. - dining table area. - master bathroom has two sinks, soaking tub and a separate shower with strong water pressure. - I was surprised to find a half bathroom. - there is a spigot, water is filtered and safe for drinking. - foyer area has a bench and shoe rack - free daily breakfast at the Lion Rock restaurant. - since HK rains a lot, you can borrow the hotel's umbrella with a $100 HKD deposit. Make sure you return them when you checkout so they can cross out your name or else you'll be charge. This suite is located at the end of the hallway, giving you peace and quiet. I have to give a huge shoutout to our lovely and darling maid, Hwa, who went above and beyond. Coming back to our room on our second day, she runs up to me and asks if I needed maid service. I told her not today. She kept insisting like 3x to empty all the trash bins and replace the used towels. After I kept assuring her that she didn't need to, she still knocked on my door a minute later. When she hurriedly finished she told me to make sure I have the green light on everyday so she can tidy up. I also appreciated that she wore slippers. That is what us Asians do. Lol. Thank you, Hwa, for making our stay so wonderful!! All the staff members we encountered were absolutely friendly and professional.
