I have worked customer service for almost 30 years in home services. The crew doing the work did not have fancy matching uniforms. errors were made during the process, as can happen with any service. From what I saw, the crew worked well together. They behaved and communicated in a professional manner while at my fiancées home. When a problem arose, they jumped on it to resolve it quickly. When I expressed concerns, they were addressed in a professional manner and Chris, Brie, and Matias were always attentive and aimed at providing a positive experience. Chris owned all aspects of the job from start to finish. He took ownership for his crew's performance and made sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the service. He is a small locally owned and operated business owner. His team did a great job and I am very satisfied with the results. I would use their services again without hesitation, and I will actively refer them to friends and family. Jobs do not always go smoothly. For me, it is not about If mistakes are made, it is about the resolution and final product. Standing by your work, taking pride in your team, and doing the right thing seem to be traits in small supply these days. South Sound Structures and Chris exhibited those traits from start to finish and that is why I will be happy to work with them again.

I got 5 separate bids to evaluate both price as well as gauge who seemed to have their act together and what products they offered. Brandon came to evaluate the space and give us an estimate. He was on time and very thorough. I could tell immediately that he had a level of experience and passion for his craft that the other bidders didn't possess. I've never installed a deck let alone a flat deck that needed to be waterproof so I wanted someone to lend their expertise. He did just that and gave us ideas of what he would do while keeping in mind what we wanted. It was a great experience so we hired them. They got us on the schedule as soon as the weather cooperated. The crew were professional and timely and the final product looks great! Now, time for the railings to be installed by another company. The railings had some other considerations that were tough for someone without experience to navigate. Brandon took it upon himself to interface with the railing people as well which wasn't really even his job. He came by and met with them to get a game plan for installing the railings that worked for everyone. Add to that, we were out of town for the latter part of the project so the hands on care was amazing and set our minds at ease. We came home to an amazing final product. I can't recommend Evergreen and Brandon enough. The professionalism, service, responsiveness and fair price made this the best home improvement project we have done. Don't hesitate to call them for your deck project. They are true professionals and experts in their craft.

It is a life time roof but things do happen The other day I noticed a tile with a large piece missing. Why we did not have a rain leak is a head scratcher. I called A-1 as they are one of the few roofers who know how to walk on and repair a tile roof. Many make that claim. Most are clueless. They came out the next day and a man named Tom Hall went up and fixed it in minutes, free of charge (a very small job but important one)! He also pointed out, with photos, a number of broken tiles that were in need of repair. I was not surprised. We agreed to have these repairs made and, on the basis it was compeleted before the end of August and the start of the "monsoons". He said he'd work us in between the bigger jobs they had. A day later, he indeed worked us in long before my August dead line. The roof was fixed and is now "tight". The response to the initial repair and the larger repair was much quicker than I anticipated. I also felt condifent in Tom's advice and comments about what needed to be done. No hard sell. Just got it done.

WeatherGuard Roofing installed a roof on our large horse barn in 2016 and provided us with a…read more10-year workmanship warranty. Despite paying over $54,000 for the roof, it began leaking within the first month. Over the next 9 years, we contacted them repeatedly for repairs. The leaks never stopped. They later tried to claim the warranty was only five years, despite us having written documentation of the 10-year warranty. When we met with the owner in 2025, he blamed the leaks on the building itself, saying it wasn't possible to properly roof a pole barn--yet somehow still sold us the job in the first place. We hired an independent roofing inspector who performed a controlled water test, and the roof leaked within hours. He confirmed there is no realistic way to repair this roof because it was improperly installed as a second-layer overlay. We now have no choice but to completely replace the roof at our own expense. In our opinion, this company does not stand by its work, and we feel misled by both the workmanship and the warranty process. We strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution and consult with an independent roofing expert before signing a contract.

Bottom line, if you value quality, professionalism and timely work DO NOT USE THEM…read more Had a kitchen remodel done earlier this year, and we're still dealing with issues on completion and quality. While we understand that we had a smaller scope of work, we expected much better. Quality: they're are many defects that I am still discovering with workmanship on this project, and we are currently still waiting for crown molding trim to be completed for the upper cabinets (this project began in January). Professionalism: Attention to details in the planning process seemed to have been heavily ignored. The wrong laminate was installed on the kitchen countertop, and it took nearly two weeks to remedy the situation (see photos below). Scott (the quasi project manager) seemed to have a very apathetic attitude toward the situation when we made attempts to reach him after discovering the issues. Timeliness: While I fully understand how delays often occur in construction supply chains, KDC's contractors seem to believe that adhering to a schedule is optional, rather than mandatory. We were originally told that work would begin in late December, however demolition didn't actually begin until early February. With that, we were also given roughly a 2 week timeline for completion of the project. It took roughly until the beginning of March to have a functional kitchen again. With the understanding that we had a more limited scope of work compared to a full kitchen remodel, KDC seemed to value us as lower priority. Ultimately, I would strongly advise finding a different company to work with, perhaps somebody who has better oversight of their contractors/sub-contractors
