As such, we hired Chris to come out during different stages of the build, and he has been, by far, the most helpful resource through this process. Scheduling the inspections has been very easy, and he is willing to work around schedules and be as available as possible, even through the busy season. His inspections are very thorough, and has caught mistakes and errors through the process which definitely would have been missed otherwise. He writes up very detailed reports (with pictures) within 24 hours after the inspection, and has been very open to communicating over the phone to provide his advice and explanations of his findings. We can confidently say that our home would not be built to the quality we expected without Chris' help. He is very accommodating, detail-oriented, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful. Chris is personable, extremely knowledgeable and fully explained every issue which needed immediate attention, or anything that should be corrected, but not critical. Have purchased three homes during my lifetime(this being my last) and can say Chris is by far the most comprehensive inspector I have dealt with. All items documented and sent via PDF (with pictures). Due to Chris's thoroughness, estimates totaled $8,000 (mainly roof and electrical) of which I forwarded a copy to the seller resulting in $4000 being paid via seller at closing. Our realtor gave us a few recommendations and they had the best Yelp reviews so we went with them. Glad we did! Nate does a nice job talking you through everything in the inspection process, and you can tell he knows about customer service. Sometimes the inspectors can be a little gruff, or maybe too direct. Nate's so personable and honest, it's a refreshing change of pace. They are also very thorough and cover top to bottom. This inspection ran us a bit more than one in the past, but that's because we added chimney and sewer specialists to it, so all in all it worked out to be about average in cost. Apparently they're very responsive as well, which is good because I have a few questions after digging into some details. Assuming the best and rounding up here based on prior communications.
