They protected our landscape so as not to damage the landscaping near the home. I did have a minor concern, but, Erik their general supervisor handled it the very next day. They misrepresented the quality of the shingles. We were told they were the same quality as we had and they weren't. We ordered one color and later told we had to order another color. Our neighbor used the same company and we were assured they were not waiting to do both jobs on the same day. We had our order in ahead of theirs and guess what, both were done in one day. My husband had to go over to the roofers and say, we are first. We were charged for the dumpster rental as was our neighbors and we shared the one dumpster. It was just one thing after another with this company. When the roofers finally showed up the job they did was so-so. There were ripples in the roof edge and we asked them to fix it. It was because we had metal gutter guards on our gutters. So instead of taking the time to do the job correctly, they cut them! Yes, cut them. It voided our warranty and ended up costing us an additional $475 to replace them. Roof Advisor offered to install some cheap plastic ones, telling us that was industry standard and my own research proved that to be untrue. They would have been down the street the first storm we had. By the time the roofers arrived I had lost all confidence in this company, but the supplies had been sitting on our roof for weeks. The supplies were delivered, the shingles put on the roof and the accessories next to the house. It was taking so long after delivery my senior husband had to move it to the garage so it wouldn't be damaged or stolen. It was over two months from the first date we were given until the poor work was done. No permits were filed and we had to ask for that to be done. We had to remind the roofers that the vent needed to be installed, they were in the dumpster. There was poor communication, poor salemanship, poor information related, and just a poor company in all. The company who came to replace the gutter guards said we should send a copy of the bill to Roof Advisor because it was appalling what they did. No reputable company would do this. So, there you have it. No, we did not send the bills because we know it would do no good. Save yourself the aggravation and go with another company.

He came out quickly to tarp the roof after storm damage, resecured it multiple times when high winds loosened it, and even helped guide me through the insurance process and paperwork so I understood everything clearly. Communication was excellent the entire time -- he sent progress photos, explained the materials and installation steps, and answered every question without rushing. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and completed the whole roof in just a few hours. Cleanup was extremely thorough and the yard looked great afterward. He handled the permit, inspection scheduling, and warranty registration as well, which made the whole process stress-free. The finished roof looks fantastic and the quality of work is obvious. They are not entitled to come in my home any time just because they were hired by buyers. I did not appreciate that he had no respect for PRIVATE PROPERTY. The inspector allowed the buyers to bring a group of family members in four separate cars into my home. They treated my house like a public facility--using my personal toiletries, towels, and bathrooms without permission. I did not appreciate that no one was told to STAY IN THEIR CAR. How many onlookers does your staff need in an inspection??? I did not appreciate the said unwanted family members scraping their boots on the sidewalk before entering MY CLEAN HOME as if the home was already theirs and they could come and go as they pleased. They were obviously not helping the inspector with anything, they were just at my home to relax and invade my privacy. Most alarmingly, I discovered at 7:00 PM that my refrigerator/freezer had been shut off at the breaker. This level of carelessness could have resulted in significant property damage / food loss. When I was finally able to read the end result inspection list to my home buyers, it was noted that 2 breakers in the kitchen were not working, The inspector, Mark, shut the BREAKER OFF TO THE WHOLE KITCHEN, then requested that a licensed electrician come and fix them. I AM AN ELECTRICIAN. Wow ! Is this how you drive away home buyers ??? With stupidity? I am a licensed IBEW electrician. Would I honestly live here 11 yrs with broken outlets ??? And I really did not appreciate the inspector, Mark Ballge, allowing his clients, the buyers, and added family members, who did NOT OWN MY HOME, to come in and make themselves comfortable, forcing and wasting another extra hour of time into MY heavy schedule. They were not invited by ME into MY HOME and I should have been warned about this set up thru my realtor. Once again, they should have BEEN TOLD TO LEAVE. You have hired DISRESPECTFUL AND INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES; disrespectful to HOME OWNERS, incompetent to home buyers, and I would never use your service or recommend it.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would, but unfortunately that's not an option…read more Please don't ever use this company. They were supposed to replace our roof last summer and opened our roof up on a day it was pouring all day long. They claimed it was a "pop up" storm they were unaware of. Ironically, they picked this date from our originally scheduled date because of storms, so I know they keep an eye on the radar. They completely destroyed our kitchen just 3 days before we were putting our house on the market and said it wasn't their fault. They took no responsibility. When we left messages for them they ignored our calls and e-mails until we involved an attorney. We felt we had no choice because 4 Guys and A Roof didn't come out to look at our destroyed kitchen for FIVE WEEKS. When the manager, Mike Karen finally came out, his exact words to us were "oh sh*t, this is bad. When you left your voicemail I lumped you in with the other people complaining about a small leak". We emailed photos of the damage and explained in detail on our voicemails of the ignored calls, so there's no way he didn't know the extent of it. Mike also complained to US for calling them and asking for the owner because "you wouldn't call Best Buy and ask for the owner" is what he said. Best Buy is not a small business obviously, and I had no choice but to call & ask for the owner because there is no corporate office for 4 Guys... We were not allowed to clean up or touch any of the damage until our insurance company came out and we also had to hire a mitigation company to do most of the clean up because of the extent of damage. On top of that, on another part of the roof over our bedroom that wasn't damaged by them, they completely failed to seal the roof at the seam and we had a leak! They came back (this is after we hired an attorney) to "fix" that, but it was still a crappy job so we had to hire another contractor to come and seal it correctly. They too were flabbergasted by the damage they saw. We had to replace 2 exterior walls of our home, all of the flooring and floor boards, counters, cabinets, drywall, insulation... our ceiling was on our floor and everything was destroyed and we had to live in this with no help from this company. Our kitchen had to be completely gutted. This happened in June of 2021 and we didn't end up getting a settlement check until October. We had to use a bedroom as a makeshift kitchen during this time and all of construction. We had No kitchen from end of June 25, 2021 until we completed the job ourselves in February 2022 (we have 2 kids in school and sports, and we too have full time jobs and don't just have the luxury to take time off work to clean up someone else mess or babysit a contractor). We didn't hire a contractor to fix the kitchen because 4 Guys was the first and last contractor we'll ever hire. The owner, Jamie Wietrzykowski, was also no help whatsoever. Never came out himself to see the damage and also ignored our calls. He also owns Mail Pouch Saloon in Haskins, OH and Swanton, OH and I refuse to give him any of my business. What a terrible company. Please save yourself from the frustration and terrible job.
