My neighbor gave me their information some years ago and I have been using their services ever since. I have two dogs and sometimes dog sit for friends, so the carpet stains and odors are endless and inevitable. John the owner has always been here to the rescue. They are extremely efficient, timely, very friendly and courteous. Above all, they get the job done! They have always been able to clean any stains I thought were hopeless. It also gives me a peace of mind that John is the owner/operator, so you know who's going to be in your house. Last time he came to my house he brought his young son who probably was on vacation, and the little guy helped his dad with small tasks, like it was bring your kids to work day. Best team ever! They are very popular and always booked, but at the same time they are very accommodating and try their best to meet your needs, especially when you have "emergencies." One time I had an urgent cleaning need for my car (some neighborhood cat pooped in the backseat!), and unfortunately that particular day they could not book me, but John's wife who took my call asked him what home remedies I can use, and she called me back to give me a very detailed instruction. I followed their instruction and thank goodness I was able to bring the seat back to a somewhat tolerable state (needed further cleaning consistently for the following weeks...damn cat). I just booked them for next week for my annual carpet cleaning. I can't wait to have these mysterious stains removed and feel clean again! read more

Jon Vinson of Home Maintenance Systems came highly recommended from several of my friends and neighbors. In the 11 years we've been living here, we'd never had our carpets cleaned (we are a dog-free, shoe-free house and are generally pretty good about the "no food" rule, etc. However, it was definitely "time" to get the carpets done). As John said himself, he's a carpet guy, this is his life. He's owned his own business (this one) for several decades and works alone. He is extremely trustworthy, punctual, thorough, efficient, and effective. We do have two elderly cats, so I told him where in the past they'd "left their marks." Of course he saw the other more obvious stains (coffee on light carpet, my niece's crayon "artwork" which then my husband worked into a big circle on the light carpet, a mystery spot no one knows how it got there, etc.). When he left I felt like a princess in my clean castle. The carpets shimmered and shone! Using his steam cleaning method, the carpets were basically dry in a few hours. John cleaned my light-colored wool carpet, light tile and light grout, all less than a year old, but worse for the year's wear for sure. He was able to remove the grime on the stairs that was beginning to remind me of the carpet in college common areas at the end of the year, and the grout is light again versus gray. Such a relief.
