I just started the move in process and realized that the floors felt gross and had a lot of weird orange stains all throughout the living room. I figured I'd move over my couches and a very very filthy rug and get them all cleaned with it, but I needed it all done and dried before the big move this weekend. Not only did I need to find someone with availability last minute, but I needed someone with a portable cleaner, as this place doesn't have street access. I text Dmitry and he responded right away saying that he had a portable cleaner asked for the specifications. I sent him pictures of my couches, a rough square footage of the rooms and the rug size and was given a quote instantly. Incredibly reasonable pricing and when I asked, he said he was available two days later, perfectly within the timeframe I hoped for! Fast forward to cleaning day, he was punctual and took a look around and then we left to run errands. He text 30 minutes prior to finishing and when we got back I couldn't believe my high traffic, disgusting 'I haven't had it cleaned in the past 7 years' rug actually looked blue/grey again (instead of dark grey, it was gross...) and he got a black spot from a sticky pad out completely, my couches are no longer embarrassing, and the weird orange stains are gone from the carpet. Best of all, I asked if the price was the same as the quote after all the cleaning, especially given how much work I know the rug must have taken, and he said it was the same price. No hidden fees, no miscommunication about the size of my place or the sofas, I zelle'd him and all in all it took just less than 3 hours and I couldn't be happier with the results. ~ Thank you so much for fitting me in and for all the hard work I know you put in, I am so glad I found your listing! read more

Had my wife on my case about wanting to buy two new couches and put in new carpeting for three rooms. I didn't really want to go through the hassle of spending the weekend looking for new furniture and carpet samples. lol So I though maybe if I found a good local small business that would be fair with their pricing it may be worth a shot to have everything cleaned again. The problem in the industry is the marketing. You get offer for 10% OFF or $50 a room and you end up with a bad taste in your mouth as you've been upsold an amount way over what you expected. I sifted through the ads on Craigs... and was directed here. I found Dmitry's reviews and made a text message inquiry because all his prices were listed upfront in the ad with no surprises. He gave me an option for the next day or the weekend. I chose the next day. Dmitry arrived exactly on time and was very personable. He saw what needed to be done and handled the job. He spent a very good amount of time on the two couches and did not cut corners. He also put a lot of effort in the cleaning of the carpets. The real test came when my wife came home. Fortunately for me I won't be having to shop for a new couch and carpets this weekend! read more

Its powerful formula penetrated deep into the fibers, effectively lifting stubborn stains and embedded dirt. The transformative result was a carpet that not only looked visibly cleaner but also felt softer underfoot. The pleasant, lingering scent added a touch of freshness to the entire space, enhancing the overall cleanliness of my home. With such impressive performance, I highly recommend this business for anyone seeking a superior carpet-cleaning experience. read more

Just got our carpet cleaned by Dmitry. When we moved into the house, we were told that the stains had been cleaned but were not able to come out. Let's just say Dmitry was able to get those out! Our carpets look super clean and Dmitry even gave us some booties to use for the first 12-24 hours of drying. Reasonable price, simple transaction, and friendly service. Thank you Dmitry! I've already recommended you to some folks I know. read more

The guy running an ad on craigslist for $99 special 2 rooms, then when asked to clean a very small room, 3 small rugs and hallway, which all together would be smaller than 2 rooms and probably wouldn't take more than 30 min all together, his new estimate is $180!!! Why all this guys handymans, carpet cleaners , plumbers, ect., asking prices that equal to a medical doctors or attorneys degree, are they trying to make from a single deal a daily income? Weird and dishonest. read more

We used Dmitry's carpet cleaning service and would highly recommend his services. Setting up the appointment was very easy through a call and text. What I really appreciated was Dmitry's honesty and integrity. He was very clear on what to expect, how the cleaning would be done, and upfront about why pet stains are harder to remove. He showed up at the appointed time, inspected the place and got to work. We also added sofa upholstery cleaning and he charged a really reasonable amount for the additional service. Overall, I found the service to be excellent and couldn't recommend Dmitry enough. You won't be unhappy once Dmitry does his job. read more

I have been a client of Dmitry's for over 10 years because of his excellent work and fair prices. I have him on speed dial -- I've got dogs. Need I say more? He's cleaned my area rugs, sofas and chairs too many times to count over the years and each time they end up looking fantastic. Dmitry is always on time, very pleasant and easy to work with. Additionally, I like supporting small business owners, as I am one myself and I know how challenging it can be. Two thumbs up for Dmitry! read more

Second time I'm using Dmitry's service, same great service and same great result. The carpet is sparkling clean and he did a wonderful job. Booking with him is easy and he showed up on time. Thanks Dmitry! read more

If there's anyone in the Sunnyvale/San Jose area with dirty carpets I found the nicest man on Craigslist. His name is Dmitry and he rocks! He just finished cleaned my carpets and it looks better than when we moved in (90 days ago). We live at The Avalon Silicon Valley, and yes they had them cleaned before we moved in. However it's no secret the carpet is cheap, so is the padding and even the installation (certain area's are not even nailed down cleanly). I don't know how old the carpet is, I never got a straight answer from leasing when I asked. The best I got was that 2013 is the year they start renovating so carpets will be replaced as they start the process. That could take at least a year if not longer. Despite the fact we never wear shoes in the house, and every single time our dog is walked outside, he immediately gets a paw bath...somehow- in only 90 days, the cream colored carpet was now grayish -black in heavy traffic areas and near any HVAC vents. Back to Dmitry! After I saw his CL ad, I checked out his website. Which is actually a really well laid out site, for a small biz like his. I called him last night and he gave me an appointment the very next day (today). He called to let me know when he was on his way and got here on time. He arrived at about 3pm and was done by 4:30pm. He moved furniture, spot treated, and did NOT charge me extra for being on the 3rd floor (many companies do). When I was "shopping" for a place to go with I noticed that most carpet cleaning companies charge extra for any spot treatments. I also learned that if you aren't on a ground floor apartment - most places have a fee based on the floor you live on and you must have patio access for them to run hoses from their van through your place. $45 -$50 was the going rate. "Best Carpet Care" had a mailer ad that boasted $37 for 1-2 rooms. But the fee to come to the 3rd floor was more than the cleaning itself ($45), and there were extra fee's if there were any bad spots that needed treating. None of this add on BS was involved when working with Dmitry. His prices are great $59 for 2 rooms. Price is straight forward, included everything. Since I'm in a one bedroom, he basically did the entire common living space. I'll add a picture so you can see how clean it looks. I can't wait until it's all dry! After trying to bissel my carpet myself on more than one occasion, to "save money" I highly recommend letting a pro do it. It actually costs less than renting the gear, buying the cleaning fluids and the time and energy you will spend to do it. Never again! Dmitry is now in my contacts and I happily encourage you to put him on yours as well! http://www.dmsparklingcarpet.com/ read more

Dmitry's Sparkling Carpet - high traffic area between living room and kitchen, plus bath and bedroom. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me

Dmitry has done excellent work cleaning our carpet in the basement. It turned out to be extra dirty, but it was cleaned to the highest of our expectations and he did not charge extra for working longer time than expected. His cleaning has also eliminated all bad odors that carpet had prior to cleaning. Dmitry was very courteous and available on the weekend, which is often not the case with other cleaners that we contacted. He was also flexible with the appointment timing and was able to accommodate earlier time when we needed it change. Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful service! Very responsive and professional. Booking the appointment: 1. Called to get a quote - wanted to make sure that it was everything we needed, so I told them I would call back. Price was great! We had two flights of stairs, hallway and a bedroom cleaned! 2. Called back to schedule the appointment and was able to schedule next day! Cleaning Day: 1. Called to let us know he was running late - very courteous of him~ 2. Went straight to work and paid special attention to our problem areas - cleaning spots multiple times to ensure its cleanliness. We have two dogs that shed quite a bit and one recently has incontinence problems! 3. When he was done, he let us know that after 6 hours of drying to vacuum to create even more softness in the carpet. Gave him extra money since he worked so hard on the carpets. Dmitry takes his job seriously! I would highly recommend Dmitry's Sparkling Carpet! read more

The dirty carpets in my apartment were stressing me out. Every time I entered my house, I would get a sick feeling just knowing that in 3 months the apartment complex would steal my deposit and maybe even make me re-carpet the apartment. Finally, I said enough was enough and called Dmitry. I wanted it done today, and 3 hours later he was at my apartment. The carpet looks fantastic and I will recommend him to my friends. Thank you for an awesome job! -Jared read more

I needed to have a townhouse's carpets cleaned on short notice. Extra heavy layer of dust due to renovations? No problem - in 3 hours, the carpets looked like new. Tight time window? No problem. Dmitry showed up in the evening on a day when he had two other jobs, and stayed late to make sure everything was just right. No running water? No problem, Dmitry carried the water he needed from two houses away, in buckets, in the dark, without complaint. He used no chemicals except for a spot remover, which removed a couple of spots I didn't think would ever come out. Overall, just a great job, and a great resource to have if you need carpets cleaned. read more

We were having guests come into town and I desperately needed our microfiber couch and one area rug cleaned THAT DAY. I called around to various providers over Craigslist and they all had ridiculous prices or couldn't help us that day. Thankfully I found Dmitry who said he could be at our place within 4 hours. He did an amazing job! The couch looks better than it did when we bought it!! It was covered in stains, mostly from my dog sitting on the couch licking her feet. Dmitry got each stain out and the couch looks amazing - Dmitry took it from dull gray to its original cream color. Incredible! After that he got started on the area rug - again pulling years of dirt, hair, and stains out of it. It was 100% stain free and looked better than new! I've used Rug Doctors before, but Dmitry's machine and hard work do a much better job than you're ever going to get doing it yourself with a rented Rug Doctor. I would highly recommend Dmitry. He was very polite, pleasant, courteous, and punctual. His pricing was very reasonable and fair. We will use his services again in the future for sure! read more

I was able to get a next day appointment with Dimity just as the other reviews state. The dog had repeatedly "christened " one end of the sofa and we wanted to have the area cleaned before the new sofa arrived. My In-laws were also coming for an extended stay the next day so time was of the essence. Dimity arrived in a station wagon with a portable device and an attitude. After much hemming and hawing, he said the job was going to take him hours and that I hadn't mention any staining. What did he think I was going to have clean carpets cleaned? it is responsibility to ask for details when quoting a job. He tried to nearly doubled his price. I had the same job done in December by Sears their team was in and out in less than an hour for about the same price. They just didn't have an appointment available in my time frame. As a small business owner I try to support "Mom n Pop" but in this case. Go with the reputation Can't tell you the quality of the work I sent him packing! read more

Dmitry, the owner of Dmitry's Sparkling Carpet takes a lot of pride in his work. He brought my micro-fiber sofa and chair back to life. They were covered in stains and he did an amazing job cleaning them! He's prompt, honest and professional. Dmitry is a perfectionist and he likes to make sure he is thorough. I highly recommend you use him to clean your furniture. I cannot comment on carpet, but he's probably just as fastidious with carpet as he is with furniture. read more

Big problem I had was his specifics in cleaning which he DID NOT tell me over the phone. My couch cushions are usable for both sides...that also includes the back pillows. Dimitry cleans only "Top side" of couches...I use BOTH sides of the cushions and pillows, so tell me which side is only the "Top side" ??!?!! And when asked to clean the other sides it was a COMPLETE TURN DOWN!! SMH I wouldn't have minded to pay a little extra or even tip him MORE but for him to not even try to satisfy his customer??? HE DEF JUST LOST ONE. read more

I called Dmitry's Sparkling Carpet this morning and was able to schedule him to come out today! He was here when he said he'd be and did a great job on two sofas, a 9x12 area rug and five fabric dinette chairs I requested after he arrived. Other than a misunderstanding on the pricing with his assistant over the phone when I scheduled the appointment, the price was very competitive with others I had priced before and very reasonable. I recommend Dmitry and would not hesitate to contact him again. read more

Dmitry is awesome. He has been to our house twice. The first time he did our large sectional sofa. It looks brand new. The second time he cleaned several area rugs that had massive amounts of animal pee on them after we were on vacation and had a less than responsible pet sitter. He did each rug 3+ times. They are perfect now, no smell and stains are gone. He is a very hard worker, and definitely doesn't try to rush. Extremely thorough job, highly recommend. read more

Dmitry did a fantastic job for us. To begin with, he was exactly on time. He is a perfectionist and a gentleman. We just bought a home and wanted to clean carpet before we move. I called around, checked Yelp, and although Dmitry had only one review, went by my gut and called him. He gave a straightforward quote (matching one on his website) and was available the next day. He came right on time, did a survey of all rooms, checked around trouble spots, and got to work immediately. Very methodically, he started with the room farthest out, applied some chemicals to trouble spots, and operated his machine on carpet one small area at a time. After completing two rooms, he asked me to check those out. They were transformed! Then he proceeded to other rooms, stairs, and downstairs. Nowhere, he showed fatigue from working for four hours. He even fixed a portion of carpet (it was loose near an edge) by applying glue; something clearly above and beyond. He mentioned that he uses a modified carpet cleaning machine and formulates his own chemicals. He seems industrious enough to do that. Overall, Dmitry was exceptional! I will definitely use his service again. read more
