I only hope that they realize--even on the thankless days--that their efforts are appreciated, and I'm glad they decided to enter their profession. I cannot praise them enough for helping us out in our time of need. Their help was immediate, and helped our family more than words can say. Thanks again, ladies. You all deserve your wings!

Jenny the owner of Senior Helpers and her amazing team of caregivers recently saved my day at a time of need -- so I know they can save yours! After interviewing several home health care agencies that serve my area I chose Senior Helpers to assist me with needed services post-surgery. Jenny and all of her caregivers were astonishing: utterly professional, consistently dependable and, perhaps most importantly, sincerely caring and compassionate toward their clients and about their work. And, Senior Helpers is very reasonably priced. I am deeply grateful for the assistance of Senior Helpers at a critical time of need. I will continue to use them in the future to help with tasks made difficult due to aging and physical disability. You have a great team, and run an excellent business, Jenny. Thanks so much!!!

Every single caregiver was on time, friendly, and helpful in every possible way. We felt safe, cared for and supported in healing. The overnight caregivers allowed me to sleep and helped my husband with medications, bathroom needs and making sure he was safely in bed whenever he got up, or moved around. The daytime care was equally attentive, friendly and engaged with our needs without being invasive or hovering. As my husband's health is now better, we are beyond grateful for all of the attention and care Comfort Keepers provided. THANK YOU!!!

I hired them again in June but it took 3 tries for anyone to call me to get serviced reactivated. Staff had told me that Kaitlin would contact me - never did. To be honest, I was desperate and need home care services asap until I could get my mom into an Assisted Living facility. The first couple of caregivers were fine. I had lined up caregivers round the clock. There was one instance where my mom had to go to the ER for shortness of breath and was released later that afternoon. I called Comfort Keepers to make sure that a caregiver was coming later that evening. When the night caregiver did not show, I called and they told me that the caregiver was canceled because my mom went to the ER. No one let me know. I was livid and upset. They did find a caregiver short notice. Then one of the caregivers failed to change all of my mom's undergarments even though it was clear that she had an accident. So he basically left my mom in a wet pad and I had to change her. I honestly wonder if the caregivers have the proper training to help older adults who have various health issues. I would NOT recommend them to use for any of your loved ones. If your loved one needs round the clock care, I would recommend looking into respite care at Assisted Living facilities.

I relocated to another state which took me away along with a new career. I did not know the owner Lupe until I began working for New Way. But, my hat is off to her for providing an organization that provides a solid foundation for families in need of care for their loved ones when they are not able to provide the care themselves. It is a home away from home for the residents that live there. The standards and regulation are set by the State of California. And New Way Services has lived up to that standard. A lot of people would love to scrutinize this company because they want to run it their way. However, let me just say that New Way Services, as regulated by the state is still here! It is NOT a easy job, but the management team and staff are still making it happen! Great Job!

I agree with the person above…read more I am a LVN recent grad, but i have older sister that are RN and my mother was a CNA. I have been around this type of work since i was around 7 years old. What they are expecting from a nurse for little pay and no benefits is ridiculous. I went in there and it is small, clean, and very friendly patients. But when i heard that the ladies that are currently there are not CNA, just ladies who want to get paid for cleaning patients I started having doubts. The "interview" was a joke, didn't ask me if i was even able to perform half the stuff, and they were going to train me for only 4 days. The interview also took place on a patients bed by the way. Although times are tough, and everyone is looking for jobs. I rather skip this, and keeping looking. Its really not worth it.

I had to make several scheduling changes due to my mother's changing care needs and the care coordinators were able to accommodate. There was one time that they could not find a caregiver and did provide phone. I would say that the majority of the caregivers that they sent out were competent and my mom really liked them. The rest did not interact with my mom and just sat in the chair, saying nothing. One caregiver watched TV the entire night she stayed with my mom. I let the agency know and I asked them not to send those caregivers again. I was glad that we had access to caregivers but I think I may try to use another caregiver company if the need arises.
