However, right before my inspection I found out these other services could not be provided. My home inspector provided great pictures and a lot of issues were in the report. However, my home inspector missed a lot of big concerns. The electrical was all messed up and needed rewiring (not too expensive to fix but this was a missed fire hazard). The new furnace was installed incorrectly and the furnace venting was too small ($5,000 bill). The electrical outlets weren't even grounded. How does a home inspector missed that?? It literally is just putting in a cheap testing device into the outlets to check them.

When inspecting the garage electrical outlets, he did not plug in the deep freezer when finished. I lost over $150.00 worth of food. When he returned to pick up the radon detector in the basement, he said he would pay for the lost food. I provided pictures of the food in the freezer and the unplugged outlet. He offered $50.00.
