I've been shopping at this Home Depot for years. Mostly for consumables garden supplies and odd and ends. I find there selection small, so I often go some where else for larger purchases. Also, I find difficult to find someone when you have a question. Generally, compared to other stores, including other Home Depots, I find this location sub-standard.
None the less over the years I have spent a sizable chunk of cash, mainly because of convenience. Today though, I experienced such terrible customer service that I may never shop at this location. I went to see about renting a tool. Not surprisingly, they did not have a tool that would work, but I couldn't even advice on a similar tool. One particular fellow could only answer "I don't know" to each of my questions.
It was obvious that this individual or his younger helper were not interested in helping an would prefer that I just went. They weren't cordial, polite or even civil. The senior of the two just looked at me with a look that bordered on contempt. His demeanor was very similar to what I have experienced with the worst of US border guards. You know, the one that is power tripping.
In closing if you need to rent something, go somewhere else. This type of customer service is unacceptable. read more
