The treatment itself was quick and painless. It was as if Dr. Liu is a tooth whisperer. I used to be a bit apprehensive about going to the dentist for a variety of reasons but after going to this office that is no longer the case. I know I am good hands from the initial welcome from the front desk to my cleanings with my hygienist, Reyna, to my check ups with Dr. Liu.

They took over a dozen X-rays and imaging because they couldn't get the angles correct and then charged me for all of them. They insisted I needed a deep clean and lied on the examination by saying my gums were worse than they actually were. They said I needed other procedures and My insurance came back and denied these claims as fraud. They gave me proof as to why they were fraudulent. I have never had this happen before. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they warned me not to go back. I canceled my appointment , but they had talked me into ordering a partial. When It came in I went to pick it up, but they refused to give it to me, saying I need to get a medical release before I get it. The receptionist was so rude and condescending I couldn't believe it. I caught her in several lies before I left out of complete confusion that I was unable to get my property. So in recap, be careful when and if you go here. Watch out for them charging you for things you don't need, keeping you there for hours to force you to make a choice you do not want, bold face lying to you, and then disrespecting you if you stand up for yourself. I will be filing a claim with the BBB as I am not the only one who had this happen to them

I was…read moretold that my treatment needed to be split into three separate appointments on different days, forcing me to repeatedly take off work. This was not clearly communicated in advance, and there was no effort made to accommodate my schedule or explain why it had to be handled this way. The office manager was shockingly rude, dismissive, and confrontational. Instead of listening or attempting to clarify my treatment plan, she spoke over me, acted as if I was incapable of understanding my own services, and responded with hostility when I asked reasonable questions. Her attitude was aggressive and completely lacking in professionalism. At one point, she even threatened to call the police simply because I told her she did not understand what she was talking about regarding my treatment plan. That kind of reaction is outrageous and unacceptable in any professional setting, especially a healthcare office. It was also clear that the doctor either does not supervise her staff closely or is unaware of how patients are being treated, which raises serious concerns about the management and overall integrity of the practice. This was by far the worst dental experience I have ever had. I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking care at this office if you value respectful communication and professional treatment.

The worst dental experience I've ever had--painful, disorganized, and deeply unpleasant. I was so…read moreupset after I left that I even called my former dentist (in Kentucky) to tell her what happened and express my gratitude to her and really get some validation. I was told I wasn't scheduled for a cleaning, only an intake, despite confirming everything by phone. The week prior, I had to leave after a 45-minute wait because of unresolved insurance issues that I also discussed with someone by phone beforehand. Once I was finally taken back, I was shocked by how unclean the facility appeared--I almost walked out and wish I had. I took a video but it won't led me load it so I will add screenshots. The photos don't do it justice, it was like this all through the back. This is basic cleaning! I take cleanliness and my dental health seriously. I have no history of sensitivity or painful experiences. I just had a cleaning about 6 months ago. I actually love going to the dentist until this experience. I only have two minor cavities (my first ever at 27 years old). This week they told me I have "slight gingivitis" in a few areas as well. Despite that, this was the most painful cleaning I've ever endured. The hygienist was extremely heavy-handed, cutting the roof of my mouth and multiple spots along my gums. I floss daily and never bleed, yet I was bleeding and in significant pain. At one point, I tried to get her to stop so I could take a break, but she didn't respond--I had to physically move her hands. I ended up crying the entire time from both pain and emotional overwhelm. What made it worse was the complete lack of empathy--no acknowledgment, no apology, not even an offer to pause. It felt dehumanizing. I must note that she was playing religious music in her section. I don't usually mind this as I respect people's beliefs, but given the overall experience this just added to the unprofessional setting. She was humming along as I was laying there crying. Otherwise, the most of the staff was very helpful and kind, especially the x ray tech.

I had to have 2 root canals (which turned into 3 because of the damage she caused) and several fillings (so she said). It took almost one year for her to complete all $4,000 of the work! Which was severely overpriced as was discovered after a thorough investigation by my insurance company...I will spare the gory details and just say this... I ended up submitting a complaint to the Texas Dental Board, and my insurance company refunded me for the horrible work she had done! People please do you research and use personal references when picking a physician! Even then dig deeper in your research! Don't believe google reviews as they are not as accurate as other sources in my opinion.... if you know what I mean (hint). Also people, please make sure that you get an "estimate review" by your insurance BEFORE having work done to make sure the dentist office is NOT overcharging you...do this if you need anything beyond a cleaning! 90% of dentist overcharge you and don't expect you to get an estimate review. Yes, it does take up to 30 days for the estimate to be completed but it is well worth it and will save you hundreds/thousands of dollars. Here are the steps: When the dentist/finance person gives you the price quote or list of charges...tell them to send it to your insurance company to do an "estimate review". Call your insurance every week to make sure your paperwork was received and being processed. It could take up to 30 days but is usually quicker! I understand it maybe difficult to do this if you have an emergency dental accident but please try. Dentist are notorious for these bad charging practices and capitalize on you urgent issues...this is how they make (excuse me) TAKE your money!

I was given x-rays and left for thirty minutes in the dental exam chair. Dr. Z had my insurance verified with the office staff. My insurance only cover silver fillings, and they ONLY offer white fillings in which I have pay the upgrade cost for each white filling in addition to the initial cost plus deep cleaning and possible sedation meds. I was denied general cleaning and told to reschedule when I was ready for deep cleaning and upgraded multiple fillings. I informed Dr. Z my last dental exam was exactly one year prior with no cavities or deep cleaning. I've never been denied basic cleaning.
