I've ordered beer 4 times now with no problems having it delivered to my door until tonight. I always give the driver $10 tip in empty bottles. Today 2 1/2 hours after ordering online I called and and they said it would be there in 2 min and it was. The driver calls me and says there is nowhere to park (there was visitor parking) and I have to come down to the lobby and get my 4 cases of beer which I did (not in the lobby but on the sidewalk out front) I give him the money, more than the invoice online and he says he wants $2 more. Called in for a home delivery from Toronto. The lady operating their telephone line is unbelievably rude. It got to the point where I started wondering why is she behaving like this: is it because she can't hear me or is she really this crass? She seems to think that she is running a charity and needs to understand that she has no right to misbehave with paying customers calling in good faith. Just terrible! read more

The order I made this morning arrived almost two hours after I placed the order (their claim of delivery in one hour on their web site needs to be adjusted). The man who made the delivery wanted me to come pick them up at the door of our apartment building rather than bringing it up to my floor. I insisted he bring them up since I could not go down to get them. He then wanted to bill me for an amount that was $5 more than the amount on the invoice I printed out from their web site when I ordered and the one I received by email from them not long after. He said that that was the amount the boss gave him. I had to show him the printout of the invoice and insist firmly on being charged the amount stated there before he accepted to do that. Not a pleasant experience at all. This was the first time I ordered through this company and I doubt I will do so again. Very poor service. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this delivery service. The driver arrived with my delivery 5 hours late. Several items I ordered were missing from the delivery or substituted for different items, without any input from me. Although the value of my delivery was about $50 less than what I ordered, the delivery man charged me the same amount before I could figure out that he did not bring everything I requested. The worst part is the customer service. I have been trying to contact someone to deal with the problems with my delivery for two days now, and I am being ignored, both by email and by phone. Horrible horrible service, they will over charge you then basically say oh well what do you want us to do about it and you won't get your money back , their average delivery time is a 2-3hr wait, and their customer service could be better run by 13 yrs olds.... word of advice do not use this service they ripped me off and they sound like they've done this before...With no care in the world.... crooks for real they don't even deserve 1 star...they should be ashamed of themselves read more

Used the Cambridge service twice. First time was problem free. Second time I tipped 10 dollars but found after the driver left I was charged double the price for 2 bottles of wine and he substituted a bottle without asking if it was ok. Beyond being over charged and having tipped the driver 10 dollars he came back to my door an hour and a half later saying I owed him more money. I didn't answer the door and only talked to him by phone. I told him if he wanted more money from me I need to see the receipt as I think I have actually been overcharged. The next day I found the receipt in my mailbox verifying I had been overcharged yet the driver was claiming I still owed him $1.33. Copies of everything have been sent to the office and I've phoned and emailed several times. They said initially they are looking into it but have stopped responding to us. It's been 2 weeks. I paid 20 dollars for the service, tipped $10 and was ripped off another $14. I do wouldn't recommend them even in a pandemic! read more

Ordered wine at 5:30 pm, website stated they delivered to my location and it would arrive within an hour. After 2 and a half hours I was still patient especially with restrictions in place it is understandable that timelines aren't always accurate. However after 3 hours I decided to call. Spoke to a woman who answered the phone and immediately stated that they were closed. I mentioned my order and said I was just checking on it's status and she said she thinks it's still being delivered. Then took 10 seconds to say "it looks like it's on the way and I haven't heard anything to the contrary". It's been almost 5 hours later, stores are closed and still no delivery. Hard to believe this business exists but based on other reviews I'm not the only one who was let down by a waste of a website and not even poor customer service. Just literally no service at all. Anything would be an improvement and wouldn't ever consider wasting my time with this place again considering there are many alternatives that actually deliver orders and have competence. read more

so, today my wife and i thought it would be a great idea to try your(home delivery canada) delivery service, with good faith. the order was placed, the guy showed up and lo and behold, it is not what i ordered. it isn't difficult to understand that 2 28ts and a few empties(which we agreed upon over the phone) would not be a difficult task for a company that advertises within THE BEER STORE. so he shows up with a 28 and a 24 telling me that i (HE) got a better deal. so i'm thinking cool, i'll save a few bucks and life will be great, i can start my party. WRONG. the guy decides to charge me the same amount (even after telling me HE got a better deal at the beer store for it and i'm now receiving less beer than i had ordered). i questioned him on this when all of a sudden he becomes upset and calls (what i didn't know then was the DISPATCHER) his "BOSS" so that i could speak with him about my concerns. COOL! np. i'll talk to someone in charge and figure this out so that i could get back to my day and enjoying my beer, WRONG AGAIN. THE PERSON HE PUT ME THROUGH WAS someone that had nothing to do with this situation, and worst of all, couldn't do anything to help. here's where it gets interesting. this guy proceeds to (in not so many words) call me a racist over the phone because i expect an explanation from his staff. i would have been happy to settle this situation but unfortunately he just carried on being rude, dismissive and by no means helpful. this is when i proceeded to send him away with his beer after hanging up with this assclown that basically just lied to me (posing as a supervisor only to call me names and offend). at this point the delivery guy tries to make his way into MY home to grab the beer he had dropped off a few minutes before. I DON'T THINK THAT THIS STANDARD OF WORK IS ACCEPTABLE AND THAT THE AWFUL WAY I WAS SPOKEN TO WARRANTS A FIRING! yes, harsh, but you've demonstrated that you do NOT give a shit about workplace integrity or customer care. lastly, i'd like to inform you all, that after sending the delivery guy on his way, and speaking to his "boss" over the phone, i proceeded to call their TOLL FREE number, where i got a hold of a very nice seeming young man that took my concerns. he was upset with me over what had happened and then told me that he is now firing off an email to the owner and that the matter would be resolved. he then confirmed my phone number so that he can call me back once he had more information and i was glad to see someone cared. but an hour and a half later i got nothing back. i of course called back because i don't like loose ends. boy was i wrong in trusting you a third time. i guess shame on me for not seeing the pattern of bullshit that this company is built upon. i get a hold of the same "nice seeming" young man who is baffled that i called back.
