This is not your typical Marshalls. The store is quite clean and organized. You barely see stuff on…read morethe floor or open packages unlike those stores in Queens. I always manage to get some deals from this store every time I visit. Last time I got a pasta gift set for a great price, $19. This time I purchased a pair of sneakers from Penguin for only $22. What a great find! They also have a huge selection of furnitures and dining wares. The checkout line is never long as well.

Was just shopping at this Marshall's earlier (6/18/2026)... police then came to me while browsing…read morein the store and put me in handcuffs because Marshall's "asset protection" identified me as an accomplice to someone stealing from the store. I was at the end of the store at the luggage section so police had to escort me through a large portion of the store outside to the police vehicle while in handcuffs, enduring ugly stares from store patrons and staff alike. I never talked to anyone nor passed to nor received any item from anyone and didn't even make eye contact with anyone in the store. Yet, I was identified by Marshall's as a suspected thief. I came to the store in an old t-shirt and flip flops and I either look Latino or Chinese based on previous experience of people trying to communicate to me in another language. So I can only surmise they based their assessment on my looks or even ethnicity instead of actually seeing evidence of thievery. To compound this experience, police (understandably) had to handle me sternly and forcefully at first as they were handcuffing me to assert authority on a suspected criminal, but unfortunately I just had surgery recently and my incisions still tender so naturally I suffered pain and discomfort. At least I am thankful to our great men in law enforcement that they are faithfully performing their duties to protect us from crime. So to summarize, I experienced pain, fear and humiliation just because Marshall's saw it fit to judge people based on how they look instead of actually seeing evidence of a crime. My advice to Marshall's shoppers is if you have darker skin, please make sure you put on your best suit and invest in a Patek Philippe watch when shopping at Marshall's so Marshall's doesn't assume you came to the store to steal and be wrongly detained and publicly embarrassed. I will make sure I leave this same review in every site that allows reviews for Marshall's. Thank you for the people reading this and hearing me out on this horrible experience.

I've shopped at Ollie's locations since they've opened, recommended them to everyone for their vast…read moreselection & cheap pricing. It's not uncommon for me to enter for an intended item & leave with a cart full. Two employees at this location mask-bullied me (I cannot wear one because of a medical condition). If the ladies room is layered in years of dust (photo), upon other filth, then why was I asked to wear a face mask? Other Ollie's locations (Tilghman St. & Quakertown) have not mask-bullied me; thank you.

Before even thinking about coming here, consider going to the Tilghman Street Ollie's instead. It's…read morebetter stocked, cleaner, has more parking, and is easier to access. This Ollie's is located in the Valley Plaza Shopping Center and is hard to access due to the busy traffic of Airport Road. The parking lot is also cramped and busy due to a poorly placed Dukin. The interior of this store has received the latest Ollie's setup, and during that process they seemingly cleaned it up somewhat. Still, this store is almost chronically understocked or sold out of items as it's a very busy store. The biggest problem is with the new Ollie's checkout design, as it's a major problem for this store. It has created a huge fire hazard. With this store's layout, you have to go through the checkout no matter what to leave and with the lines this store often has, there's no clear and easy exit. Great to prevent shoplifting, but not great if you are just browsing or if an emergency would occur. They also keep one of the entrances doors locked, so you can't go back out. With the traffic, stock, and store layout...just go to the Ollie's on Tilghman Street instead. It's a much better store.

I got a membership because Bj's have unique items that you can't find at the other wholesale clubs…read moreat a reasonable price. It's a great bargain if you get a membership when Bjs have their promos which is 50% off annual membership which amounts to $25! Despite Covid-19, BJ's employees don't wipe the carts. It's a DYI process. Once you enter the store, there is station and an employee who has a tray of wipes on a plastic tray for customers to pick up and wipe their own carts. You take a napkin and wipe your cart. A few likes: - The store has more holidays / Xmas stuff during the holiday season (for outdoor decorations - Costco has more options) than the other wholesale clubs and you can find some cute stuff there like Xmas cards, ornaments, stockings, cookies, chocolate and gift baskets. - For bargain savvy parents, I think their baby section is bigger and have a varied of products compared to other wholesale clubs. BJs sell both Huggies and Pampers diapers and baby wipes. My only qualm is they don't carry the Pamper Pure line. - I am a big fan of their bakery for this particular location. I really like the craftsmanship of their cakes. It's very well done and pretty. Though I've never ordered a cake from here but I might in the future. I also like how they have small Danish pastries and croissants ! It's the perfect for small snacks and parties! They sell Junior cheesecake from NY! If you haven't had a chance to try their infamous cheesecake then you can always grab a small cake here. No other wholesale clubs sells Junior Cheesecake in their bakery. - They have better snacks and they sell boxes of Lays chips among other snacks. They also have a $7 for two large party size bags of chips! A few dislikes: - During the last visits, I think they had on the heat too high, I always felt stuffy and can't wait to leave. - The layout of this store should be redesigned. Felt like walking in a maze and it's not seamless. Hard to describe but I've been to different Costco's and Sam's Club, both stores were easier to navigate. - The bathroom was not clean often enough. Last visit, some customers threw used toilet paper and a pad on the floor inside one of the stalls. It was disgusting. They should put a bigger garbage pail inside each stall. Bjs have weekly or monthly sales, depends on the product. Some items requires a member to clip coupons either from their account online or on the app. Once you clip the coupons for the items you want to purchase, the items will be automatically deducted during checkout once the employee scan your membership card during checkout.

This has happened three times to us and chatting online with them does nothing. This store used to be pretty good but lately they just don't care. If BJs doesn't want to take double coupons, just tell the customers this so we stop wasting our time!!
