Home Bargains is located in the Manor Walks shopping centre mall in Cramlington. It is nearer to the Sainsbury's end. Parking is available outisde of the supermarket or in the central section of the mall adjecent to the Subway sandwich shop. There are usually plenty of spaces except on Wednesdays which is market day. The shop is located beside another discount store, The Yorkshire Trading Company and it is worth visiting both stores for your bargain buys. Home Bargains sells things like cosmetics and bathroom products that you'd find in similar stores like Superdrug. They also sell toys and some food, which appears to be imported from abroad. The prices of all items is very cheap and less than at other stores. Home Bargains is a narrow store with three long aisles stretching to the back of the one room. The tills (about four of them) are located at the front of the store. The entrance is wide enough for a wheelchair or pram but it can get congested. There is no window display and the area can look a little messy as staff tend to leave stock and plastic bags in the area. I generally find that this store is so popular that there is ALWAYS queues at the tills, often going back seven or eight customers per line. The staff do not usually pace around the shop offering help as it is too busy. So if you need anything it is difficult to find anyone to ask. It is a brilliant store to get a bargain but be prepared to fight your way through the aisles and wait for a long time to be served. read more

This is a great shop for lots of bargains. It has a wide range from toiletries, toys to food and gifts. The aisles are wide and it is set out like most home bargains with the best bargains on at the front of the store followed by household cleanings products and shampoo then onto gifts. It had some fantastic gift sets for christmas for cheap and offers well known brands for cheaper than other shops. It has a great selection of childhood sweets and last time I was in I heard someone keep inform their dad they must get everything as they were only 10p. The assistants are usually quick and your bags are packed for you I did have a problem one time with them not being able to find a price on something and it taking them a while to figure it out but they are usually quite good read more

I love this shop as much as I love chocolate!!! ... the bargains that can be had from crisps for the kids to bottles of wine which RRP at £8.99 and yet only cost a couple of quid! I use this shop all the time for the teddies which sit on top of my nappy cakes!!! read more

This Home Bargains store, located in Manor Walks, is situated beside the Yorkshire Trading Company. Despite the fact that there's a certain similarity between the two shops, both are usually busy. This is the place to come for, as you'd expect, bargains! Goods in store include toiletries, cleaning products, foodstuffs, some alcohol, toys - a wide range of items for the home, in fact. Excellent value for money, this is definitely a place to check for some of your household staples if you're looking to save some money. They advertise top brands at low prices and they do indeed have plenty of well known brands on the shelves. It can be hard to find things in here, I don't think the layout is the best but there are staff around to ask for help and the shop isn't that big that you lose the will to live before you find what you want. read more

If you are on a budget then this shop is for you. Everything is at discount prices from toiletries to kids toys. Their toys are at pocket money prices and sometimes they even have the big brands that the kids want discounted. Their toiletries range is top quality with big names like Colgate and Right Guard being sold at much cheaper prices than the supermarkets. They have a small range of food and drink some of which is excellent value. The shop is often very full and queues can be long. read more

This is a great shop if you are on a budget. Situated right in the middle of Manor Walks shopping centre, it is ideally located for parking, there being 3 car parks right next to the shopping centre- and all of them free. This shop sells a large range of products, including food, cleaning products, toiletries, alcohol, toys, pet food and gifts and all at really competitive prices. You can't guarantee what products they will have in store as it changes from week to week but usually they have a really good selection of products that are mostly cheaper than you will find them in supermarkets. Especially good bargains include toys, which are ideal when you have a whingeing child to contend with on a Saturday morning and toiletries including bargain prices on shampoos and conditioners with many top brands at discounted prices. There are also bargains to be had in the biscuit and crisp ranges. Definitely worth a look in, although it can get a bit crowded and can involve a wait at the checkout. They take a full range of cards and still give away free carrier bags. Cant be robbed! read more
