There are plenty of signs, as this place is kind of tucked away. You will park on the street, but given the fact that this is a small town, parking is not an issue. Walk down and order at the window. They take cash and cards. There are so many options to choose from! From what I could tell, there was one dairy free option (raspberry lemon sorbet, very refreshing!) and they did have gluten free cones as a choice as well. There are a few areas for seating, but I would personally recommend taking a short trail to the left down to the river! There are a few little trails and a beautiful little creek! Very peaceful! All of the ice cream was delicious and the girls serving were super sweet! Note: This city has a siren (sounds like the severe weather siren) that goes off everyday at noon. They also use it to call for firefighters, since there is very little to no cell service in the area! Scared the heck out of us hahaha! Definitely worth going to check out!!

After finally doing some research and seeing this place was in fact open, I decided to stop up on my cabin visit and was so glad I did! There is a local meat fridge / freezer in store should you wish to dabble along with the standard espresso drinks and varying pastries along with egg bakes. The staff was welcoming and personable and the bathroom even accommodated all the lady items - hooray! I opted for the cold brew and added a shot of pumpkin. It was very good! Looking forward to trying a hot beverage on the next time around.

Service was nice and the longer line went fairly quick. One register up front for purchase transactions and one in the back for buying cheese and fudge.

My sister and I went to the Scandia Farmers Market on its opening day and had a great time! In the…read morepast, the Farmers Market was held at Gammelgarden Museum (across the street from the Scandia Community Center). However, due to COVID-19, it is now at the Community Center to ensure that there's enough physical distance between vendors and customers. We were welcomed by Gammelgarden Museum's intern who showed us where to wash our hands before entering the market. There were clear in and out directions to ensure an easy flow of customers. Customers and vendors all are required to wear masks, making this a safe and healthy place for people (especially those who have underlying health conditions and/or are seniors) to shop for produce, baked goods, meat, wild rice, plants, and crafts. There were a variety of vendors on Opening Day, and it was so much fun to visit each one and see what was being offered. Despite not having music or entertainment, or food to eat on site (because of the CDC guidelines), it was still a festive and welcoming place to be, and a fun way to see neighbors and friends. We are looking forward to going back to the Farmers Market again next week!
