I was looking for a quick pedicure before a wedding and, like the reviewer that led me here, stumbled upon this place. $30 for a deluxe pedi with a scrub and paraffin treatment is a pretty good deal, so I thought why not. I wasn't in a terrible hurry, but I didn't think that it would take almost an hour and a half for a pedi. They did a great job on the bottom of my feet, and the sea salt scrub/paraffin was awesome. They use an actual razor on the bottom of your feet, which I prefer to the buffing. The woman too great care to smooth out the rough spots. The polishing wasn't that great though. It chipped almost immediately, even though I waited until it dried to leave the business. The people were polite, but didn't appear to speak much English, so there was very little conversation. Overall, I would probably return if I needed another pedicure and am out this way. The experience was pretty decent, aside from the polish debacle. read more

Lonely, one worker, didn't apply nail tips correctly, left with acrylic and base coat, told that French tips were too hard and I had to pick an easier design. Left to the deluxe nail salon2 , soaked off the old nails and left happier than this place. Highly disappointed. read more

This is the worst nail shop in Aurora. The owner is rude and heavy handed. Pedicures are so uncomfortable. His wife is rude and always suggesting a tip. Please go somewhere else for professional services. They don't respect customers it's only about your money. I wish they would just close down. Wacky business read more

I've been going here for the past 28 years because of the owners employees only. The minute I praised his employees and not him, he started treating me like crap and fired his employees. He gives beyond to cut me clipping my nails and painted them horrible. If you're African or Hispanic, do not go here as he is very racist. I've always went beyond and left him an hefty tip out of respect. Today was my last day. His wife is the best. read more

This nail salon was my first and final visit. I have bubbles on my nails. My nails look like my 10-year-old niece did them. The worst experience I have ever had. Quality and service were terrible and not friendly at all. read more

Stopped in on my lunch break for a fill-in no. The man, I would say (owner) drilled my cuticles and I have multiple cuts on my fingers. 1st and last time!!! Very sloppy work for a French tip. Just a horrible experience!! read more

I got my nails done there on Friday 9/18. I was burned multiple times, my cuticles have been cut on multiple fingers, and the polish is already chipping. I spent 40$ for rushed work, and a very painful experience. I used to come here all the time in high school... but something has definitely changed read more

I had a horrible experience the man was super rude to me they were in a rush because other customers kept coming in while I was simply asking for things I wanted done to my nails the man kept yelling at me that they were professionals but if I'm paying for a service and want something done to my nails it shouldn't be a issue the service was horrible read more

I stopped by for a pedi and the girl who usually does nails took it upon herself to do my pedicure and she did a poor job. She finish pretty quickly and I tipped her well prior to realizing that she did a poor job. After I left I later discovered that one of my heels was still rough as if she did not attend to it at all. There was also roughness in other areas of my foot as well. I have came to this salon several times and this was the first time this particular person has ever gave me a pedicure. It was terrible and I honestly will not be coming back anytime soon. I should have known something was wrong because she rushed through my pedicure. read more

You're better off letting a two year old give you a pedicure. This is easily the WORSE experience ever! This has to be the roughest and most unrelaxing pedicure I've ever had. The guy wasn't even attempting to communicate just pulling on my legs and feet! I'm also pretty sure they legally aren't suppose to be using the shaver thing to remove dead skin anymore. I came in at 5pm they don't close until 7pm yet her was rushing and kept checking his watch, mind you no one was waiting to be serviced at all!!! If I could this place negative stars I would! Don't waste your money or time. read more

Went in for a French pedicure and manicure trying to get my nails cute for a wedding I'm in tomorrow. ‍ they look horrible looks like I paid $20 for this.. instead of $65 rushed me in mind you it was not busy...I was the second customer in. He didn't take no time on my feet and cut me when he was cleaning my cuticle hurt so bad the whole time he worked on my feet my toe bled. My hands omg she said she's been doing nails for 16 years!!! Doesn't look like it. read more

Went in & had a no chip done. The polish must have been old bc all my nails were streaky. He also kept putting a top coat on without dipping the brush back in. The tips of my nails were chipping the next day. I am on day 4 & my nails are all peeling. I look like I haven't had them done in 4+ weeks. My hair was getting stuck on day 2 of having them done- usually that's the indication to get them done but not after day 2. Terrible job. Will not return- I would have gone back but decided it wasn't worth the wait or have this place do them. read more

If i could give no stars I would. This place was awful... 1) it's dirty and has clutter everywhere!! 2) the guy had no clue how to wax. I think it was his first time or something. He put burning hot wax on my face in so many different directions then ripped it off, not against the hair growth pattern, telling me the hair wouldn't come out and he couldn't do it. I left with wax still on my face, because he couldnt get it off. 3) The workers were hardly professional.... sleeping in the pedicure chairs is not good for business guys....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DONT GO HERE!!!!!! read more

I came to Hollywood Nails Salon on Sunday evening to get a pedicure. Arrived around 4 wasn't that crowded was able to get "seated" right away. The man I didn't catch his name did a good job. I then went against everything I stand for lol and decided to get my eyebrows waxed. See this was my first time at this place so why not give them a chance. I have thick eyebrows but thick is in right. WRONG. My eyebrows are thin now like he took to much off then he was really rough . All in all I'll probably go back but not for eyebrow read more

I've been going here for about 5 years with the nice lady doing my mani and pedi. Today the older man for some reason did my m/p and did an awful job. Then tried to overcharge me for his fuck up. Well I am definitely not the one. I will not be returning and definitely won't be recommending this place, now that there's a new beauty bar in my area. read more

Hollywood Nails Salon - Sorry I should've posted this the day I got them done but this is like 4 days later. - Nail Salons Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

If I could I probably wouldn't give them any stars. First off 3 different people did my nails no one spoke to me cared to engage in any conversation with me or anything. My nails were rushed and paint job was sloppy and when I complained the lady who polished them had a attitude because the man which I believe is the owner told her to fix it she wanted him to do it. She was so pissed that she had to fix my nails that she didn't talk to me the entire time and while my nails was drying in the no chip dryer she turned her back to me. That was extremely rude! Once I was done and paid my money no one said thank you to me or bye or anything. They were so rude and made me feel like they didn't want my service from the time I walked in. I will not be returning I'll take my money some where that appreciates it no wonder it was empty fresh what happened to customer service read more

NO stars...too bad I had to pick this one! They are not the greatest but I thought they were nice folks. Well they charged my card two times. Bad enough had to pay $1 to use my card. Tony the owner when I first called and asked for owner said he was on V A C A T I O N! I knew it was him so I proceeded to tell him my issue. Well he said he did not and.....long story short, refused to help and gave me a phony bank number for his bank! I am pissed, nail fill turned into a $60 bs. DONE WITH HOLLYWOOD NAILS! IF YOU GO THERE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD! WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE COULD HAPPEN! SHAME ON YOU TONY! SHAME ON YOU! RIP OFF! read more

I will never come here again. My experience was very disappointing. I had something as simple as a gel manicure and the lady who worked on me named Nelly did a poor job. How do you mess up a gel manicure? She filed my nails in different shapes and lengths. I pointed it out to her while I was there for her to fix them and she failed to do so. I went home and ended up fixing them myself. I would have given this place zero stars but it forced me to give at least one star. read more

Ran into this place quite by accident while I was running a lunch errand. I needed a pedi ASAP before a last-minute trip to FL, so I ran in here. It was a Wednesday mid-day so hardly anyone was there. Service was very fast, the place is huge and very clean, and I got a "special" which included a salt scrub, body butter application and hot towel wrap of my legs and feet... and all it cost me was $35! I rarely go this far out in the 'burbs, but if you're a local, hit it up! read more

If I could give half a star, I would. This place is HORRIBLE. The guy who did my nails was extremely rude and they left glue all over my nails. No quality or effort put in at all. I will never go back. read more

Went in to get my nails filled; and the man doing it was so inexperienced it was obvious. He literally ripped half my nail off, to which I was bleeding. I did receive and apology so I got over it. They offered to do my eye brows then, which I assumed would be free for ruining my nail. Instead of having me laid-back and in a proper chair, they had me sitting in an office chair on wheels. The man who is doing my eyebrows literally took off all the hair, leaving me with extremely thin eyebrows with no shape when I once had nice thick arched eyebrows. I obviously was angry and said I would not be paying for this the man went off and started talking about me in whatever language they speak. He came back and told me that if I didn't pay they will be calling the police. I was very angry so I paid and left. I will never be going back there again read more

I got acrylic nails done by this woman there and she was so rough with the nail filer. Now my nails kinda hurt and feel very sore.

My nails were nice except for one of them which had a lil streak but they were good. It looked clean and they took me right away. She helped me find the color I wanted and was very nice. read more

This salon used to be my absolute favorite place to get my nails done until a horrid comment ruined it... The woman doing my eyebrows (I believe she was the owners wife) patted my stomach and proceeded with "Are you pregnant?" I politely answered with "no" and she didn't stop there, sadly. "Then why are you so big? Do you just like to eat?" was the next thing out of her mouth. I was in absolute awe, paid for my services and never turned back. It's very sad that one ignorant woman ruined it all for a loyal customer. I will never step foot back in this place! read more

Horrible service, they wanted to put nail polish insted of powder coat, they don't understand what you want, and if you tell them thats not right they what to charge twice and are pretty rude!!! not recommended at all!!! read more

I stopped in because I was mailed a coupon (witch I was told I could not use when I got there). The prices still looked reasonable so I decided since I drove all the way there already I would just stay and give it a try. It was a very nice little place. Cute and quiet. I did like that they seemed very clean. The quality was good and my nails look great. I was a little offset they would not let me use the coupon but still got a pretty good deal. and the only other thing I do not like is that when i was done they rushed me a bit out of the door and i wanted to sit at the dryer more. i understand they were busy but I am a paying customer as well. read more

Had an hour to kill so thought I would get gel nails put on. The board said $35 and up for a full set so I thought I would give it a try. Nails were put on very thick. Also charged me $45. I asked why and they said the color was $10. I've had nails for years and have never had to pay extra for color. You're going to get nails put on with no color? Also, very little English so hard to understand. read more
