I have to write about my time here as it was not what i expected unfortunately, your salon was recommended to me from a friend and I don't know if I got the girls on a bad day or something a girl with short black hair was doing my acrylics ( I didn't get her name) very bad quality might I add for the price, the acrylic was thick and uneven and my cuticles where cut she was very rough and rushed the whole thing. Not to mention as much as I hate to say this she had extremely bad breath and I didn't want to embarrass her by saying something in the salon, my appointment wasn't early either so i couldn't have even blamed it on morning breath, I couldn't wait to get out of that chair Hygiene is key in any work place! The girl that was doing my acrylic looked tired and looked like she didn't want to be there and I felt like I was bothering her, on the other hand the nail painters where pleasant enough and seemed a bit more enthusiastic and nicer to talk to. I tried to get an appointment for Friday or Saturday booked out that was fine so I asked to be booked in for next appointment available 5;30 on a Tuesday got to the shop at 5:30 remembered from my first and last appointment that they did take card???up to no good if you ask me. so had to run dwn to the atm it was almost 20mins to 6 and they turned me away after me driving 6mile from my home paying to have my car parked not on at all I was out of pocket because yous don't take card yous made me late rip of fiddlers read more

I must say I've been in here afew times and I've always found the service great! The girls are always really friendly and the quality of service is fab! I've had manicures here before and they've been a top notch job. They always have really great offers on like get one set of nails and another free which, if you get yours infilled every two weeks is a great bargain! Went there on our vacation because I knew my nails would need a changeover.The ladies who work there are lovely but they must get through each client in minutes and use only a drill to remove gel polish (or powder polish in my case). When I got home and removed the gel polish my nails were just trashed underneath. The equipment, counter, and salon in general was not very clean. I am, by no means at all, the sort who shrieks and fusses over the state of their nails (my own natural nails grow pretty well, thanks very much) but on the odd occasion (like weddings, fancy do's) then I am tempted to splash a bit of cash and go and get my nails done. I've made this mistake here once. PLEASE DO NOT DO THE SAME! I thought, well, I can either splash a lot of cash (i.e. £35++ to get someone to throw a bit of colour on your nails) or go for the cheap and cheerful option (£10 for air brush manicure / pedicure) which will leave me more money to spend on the blushing bride (or at least at her wedding!) So cheap and cheerful it was. BIG MISTAKE. The next day I went to get my hair done and the manicure had already worn off. Talk about disappointed. The girl in the shop had reassured me it would last at the very least two days. Mmm Hmm... Won't believe that again. So, when they say you learn from your mistakes, please, learn from mine. Spend a bit of time, effort and money if you're after a quality, long lasting job. They looked good at the time, for about 12 hours after, but wash your hands once, and see ya, bye bye nails. I was told on the phone they would cost £26, but as if turns out that was just to put the clear tips on (sorry what) it was then an additional 10 for one colour of gel and I got 1/4 of 2 nails with glitter (the smallest amount of glitter) and it was £42?! This is absolutely disgusting for such plain nails to ask for, I have had full nail art on each nail before and they cost me £30. Very unfriendly staff and was a very bad environment. I love love love holywood nails. Been going for years now. The salon where told that in 36 hours they would be going back into lockdown. At that, the salon was already booked out...... I wasn't due in for another week and the staff went out of their way to contact me and fit me in before lockdown. I love everyone who works here, the girls are fantastic, they chat to you, they engage with you, they share stories with you and go the extra mile to build a bond. I love my nails every single time I get them done, I love my interaction on every occasion and I cannot fault them. Ive read some poor reviews but the theme I see is from "one off customers" which indicates they aren't open to change, arent open to a lively upbeat atmosphere. If you don't like your nails girls, why walk out of the shop saying you are happy. Tell the staff you aren't happy and they will change your nails untill you are happy. Awful. Avoid. Visited the salon for the first time yesterday for acrylics. Left the salon with extremely thick, uncomfortable and sore nails. Thought it would settle as the day went on but got worse. Had to visit another nail bar today to have the extensions removed as extremely sore. It took 3 hours to soak them off! Nail technician had never seen nails like it. Extensions were glued to my skin and not my nails! My finger tips were also covered in glue. If I had of kept them on any longer i would have been left with infections and no nails. So glad to have them off. Would not recommend at all. Complete waste of time and money. Salon is a conveyor belt and not interested in nail health. Harsh products used read more

I went and got my nails done here only because a friend was getting hers done here and the reason was because it was cheap! I will never ever return here its cheap and I can see why, the quality is horrendous! I have very short nails because I always get them done somewhere more expensive all the time. The tips the owner put on were barely even on my nail, I felt like they were going to just snap off and one did! I have only got them today but I already want them off!! They no joke are way too thick and loose. It looks like they were glued on with a pair of nails for a fiver. The staff except one barely tried to make a conversation with me they were just talking about the slowness of staff at the other side of the shop. I kept trying to make conversdation but I actually got no where and felt very uncomfortable. A girl was filing my nails with a normal nail file and ended up going so hard she cut my finger! In fairness she did say sorry but I told the owner to take care not to cut me as ive had it done before in other places, he insisted they wouldn't make that mistake here, maybe he should train his staff a little better. I had a girl doing my designs I noticed the shop use ordinary cheap nail polish but the girl I was with was lovely made sure I got the best design possible for my nails with i really liked about her caring. The design is great but as I said the nail is thick and feels like they will snap off, I think il pull them off instead. Would NEVER go back. Went here with my daughter last week for a treat.phoned before i went and was told it was between £26-31 each .the girl who put the acrylic nails on was very unfriendly and didnt speak a word?. The girl who applied the polish was much more friendly . When i went to pay i was told they didnt accept cards??? I went to the nearest atm to get money leaving my daughter in the shop....whilst out my daughter phoned me to tell me it would be £79 for the both of us!!!? I didnt want to make a fuss as it was a treat for my daughters graduation....and i dont want to be rude but 26 and 26 was always 52? Or even 31 and 31 was always 62??? No matter what school you attended ? Or how intelligent you are ...but how did they come up with the figure£79???? I didnt mention the price at the time as the nails couldnt exactly be removed?Summing up not friendly and grossly overpriced!!! Avoid at all costs!! read more

I left with acrylics that had glue under and around my nails and they only lasted a few weeks. The service is awful, they don't talk to you, are rough and chat with their co workers using a lot of bad language. read more

i went n got my nails dne here, the staff was really friendly, they have an offer on 4 arcrilic nails 4 £20...i broke 1 of my nails(while partyn lol) i went back 2 them, n got that nail fixed plus they put more coating on the rest of my nails, n they only charged £2..which i thought was very good, 2 off my mates went n got ders done and are very happy with the way they turned out, so i would recomend any1 2 get der nails done here.... read more
