Went here the day before Mother's Day and they got us in quick, which is unusual because normally we are told to sit and wait 30 minutes. We asked for 2 sugar scrub pedicures and the nail techs were not friendly, but tried to upswell us on another scrub. Glad we didn't go for the volcano scrub because we didn't even get the full service for the sugar scrub. It includes a towel wrap and a massage. I got a half hearted massage and my nail tech plopped a hot towel on my legs and walked away. I wish I got a video of the nail tech servicing my mother as she did the same. My nails look nice. I once a year come here to get my nails done by Noel. She's fantastic and friendly. I'd give her 5 stars but the rest of the establishment a 2. I have gone here for years... suggested this place to friends over the years. I have made appointments, kept them, had to cancel a couple of times due to various reasons. But this last time, I had to cancel at the last minute due to my job. I have a very demanding job and we were dealing with hurricane Helene damage at some of our customers buildings in South GA. I was then berated via text for canceling. I can honestly say I was more disappointed than anything. girl do not go here. my friend and i both left with our nails messy af and our nail beds were both raw from all of the filing and drilling. i had a guy who worked on mine and he was literally drilling into my skin and cuticles. when he was done he put oil on my hands and it went into the open wounds and burned. my hands were bleeding when i left and my fingers are all extremely sore. never in my life have i left a nail salon with every single one of my fingers aching. he also didn't clean up around the nails and cured top coat and black onto my actual skin. the shape of the nails are beautiful and they look cute from far away, but up close you can see the rawness of my skin, many many errors, and polish mistakes like bubbles and blemishes that he just did not care to fix. the trauma to the skin around my nails is unreal. i cannot stress this enough; LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

My sister came in for service using her walker she left her wheelchair home. She can't stand long we explained this to the man as he pointed to the wall tell her to pick a color. I went in for a pedicure. Online the pedicure I choose was $30. When I got to the Salon the price on menu was crossed off and wrote in $35. Not a big deal. They took off my gel polish never Soaking the nail. By them leaving some of the Old and not buffing nail it made nails slightly lumpy. When checking out the up charge for gel was addition $10, other places charge $8 BUT they additionally charge another $10 to remove old gel. So the $30 plus pedi that was subpar at best cost a total of $55. read more

Honestly the worst experience ever. We had booked an appointment for 11:15. Two adults and two kids. We were seated and then told it would be about 20-30 minutes, even though we had a reservation. One adult finally was started on (pedicure) at 12:05. We had already looked at the prices online $20 kids pedicure $25 for the adult ones and $15 for express basic manicure. We had two kids pedicure one adult normal and one adult gel ($15) extra for gel. and then one express manicure. Should have been around $115 ish it was $148. Not sure how they came up with that number plus my manicure was horrible. Had bubbles, chips and the polish went over the sides. We didn't leave until 1:20pm so we were there 2 hours!!!! Worst nail job I've ever had in my life! I'm a nail tech myself, having recently moved here from Houston - so I'm very familiar with nail salons and nail jobs. I didn't expect this salon to match the very best of Houston - but I was totally unprepared for just how disappointing my experience at this salon would be. They cut my finger twice, causing me to bleed - and didn't apologize - instead they blamed it on my "sensitive skin". And it was the owner who did this. I'm still in pain as I type this. They also asked many personal intrusive questions - for example "how old is your husband? He's too old"... How many times have you been married" etc. The most important issue, though, is how bad the nail service was. The cuticle work was very sloppy and painful. The gel color coverage was uneven (thin / see-through in spots) and it didn't even cover all of my nails. Further, residue from my old gel work was still under all of my nails when I left. Some of the techs are nice; my pedicure tech did an okay job (one is already peeling (same day), even though gel should last at least two weeks) - though she also cut me until bleeding and didn't apologize, but was otherwise very nice. The salon is nice inside, and has so much potential - however, the horrible manicure job the female owner did today will definitely prevent me from ever returning! read more

I got an sns manicure from here and it's absolutely terrible. My nails are different lengths hand to hand, there are scratches on the actual nail from the power file that were never fixed, and the shape of my nails is completely wrong. The only good nail I have out of all ten is the only one that she checked with me, the rest are harshly shaped and very rough at the edges. The staff was great, and so was the facility itself. It was very clean and they had TVs to keep you entertained while your nails were getting done. I'm not usually a harsh person, if I have a poor experience I just chalk it up to a bad day for whoever was working and go to a different place next time, but every time I've been here something has gone wrong. I've gone to Hollywood Nail Bar for years and have had great service, not to mention, incredible manicures/pedicures! I went there today for an S&S manicure and regular pedicure Upon arrival, I didn't recognize any of the employees and it wasn't busy at all. I sat down in the chair and the gentleman, whom I didn't know, proceeded to start on my bails. He had me soak my hand in acetone and asked me to move my hand around in it, if "I had the time"! I've always had my nails wrapped in cotton with acetone and then with foil. This method, hurt my hands and was very uncomfortable!!! He proceeded to cut my nails way too short. I couldn't look at what he was doing with my nails, as I was afraid to look. When I left, my bails were rough and looked like a child did my manicure! Aweful read more

Beware! My wife takes pride in her nails and knows the industry very well. She just had a very very disappointing experience here - and it was by the female owner.. Now, she is almost crying due to having bad-looking nails, and they were gel, which is very difficult to remove. Her hands are still hurting from two cuts they inflicted today (and bled) - so she doesn't want to go through the difficult process of re-doing them soon - and doesn't trust that Hollywood would do any better on a redo. So we're out of over $100, she's in pain, and has to look at a bad nail job for a while. Then we have to pay another salon to fix them! I feel bad, because I recommended them, based on the nice appearance of the salon. She also witnessed them putting tools that weren't properly sanitized (only rinsed) - back into the sanitary bags, and re-using them on the next customers. This is a big safety violation. (My wife brought her own tools). Further, they asked many personal prying questions while I was there (e.g. "how many times have you been married") - and I learned afterward, that they pressed my wife many times to tell them how old both of us were - and then told her "he's too old"! This is None of Their Business - and I Don't appreciate it! I will allow that - your mileage may vary. In other words - you may have a great experience there - if you get a great technician. (They certainly have a beautiful facility, and some of the techs seemed very nice so I feel bad for them). But, given our experience with the (female) owner today - I wouldn't count on it. read more
