I was greeted by two lovely people, the owner and a new sales associate who took the time to go around and show me all the products they carried as well as ask about my Yorkies diet and health etc. They shared their personal experiences about "why" you may or may not want to feed your pet certain foods and also was happy to see the nutritional supplements with only the best ingredients for my pup available as well. 5 STARS to this store. Contrary to the other 1 star reviews, animals get and spread covid and other human pathogens, people still have not learned to be aware of their own personal hygiene, much less how dirty their pets are living on the ground 24/7 which is utter ignorance. Also if most non essential stores were closed during covid, are these really valid complaints? The store is charming, the staff are extremely knowledgeable about pet nutrition and frankly I brought my dog inside in a stroller because if pet stores, vets and kennels are loaded with pathogens so is any place people bring their pets and think they should run free and swap cooties. NO Thanks! We had a wonderful experience, my dog loves her food and fresh baked cookies (no wheat, gluten, sugar, salt options) and I will be a returning customer and ALSO get my own fresh baked "to go" items next time, which I thought was a great additional service. Ft. Myers is lucky to have such evolved and enlightened people working for the benefit of the silent, innocent and dependent animal community. BRAVO!

They also have different photo backdrops and will take pictures of the pups on gear visit. For Easter, they had a doggy easter egg hunt where all dogs got eggs with treats inside and it was so much fun! We got a cupcake for Captains Birthday, and a celebration cake for Neemo's last day of chemo and my dogs who are not normally into cakes devoured the cakes from here. They use human grade ingredients and really care about their visitors. I also love the spotlight on adaptable dogs that they post to social media. This is truly the best dog bakery we have ever visited!

My mother has purchased several Chihuahua accessories from this husband and wife team. However, She…read morenor I will never be buying from them again. I was with my mother when she returned an extra small harness she had bought the week before for a small harness. While returning the harness/collar, my mother also decided to purchase a hat. We were conversing with the owner and that must've caused a distraction, as she failed to put the small collar in the bag with the hat. So not only did she have the extra small that we return but she also had the small that we were supposed to get in its place.. as soon as we got home we noticed it and contacted her, but she denied the error. We also asked if she could review the cameras placed throughout the booth, but she denied having any cameras. So now My mother's out $29. But there is a silver lining folks, you can get the same collar on Amazon delivered next day for $10 less.. Please purchase your mesh shoulder harness collars from any of the websites on Amazon and avoid being swindled by this dealer. I hope that screwing this customer was worth it!!!!!

My dog has gone to Tiki Tails for the past 6 years. I really appreciated the great care they…read moreprovided but, earlier this year, Tiki Tails has expanded their resort to a much bigger facility which is beautiful, but, you don't get the warm greeting like you did at the smaller daycare. The receptionist at the desk in the afternoon when picking up my dog didn't know who I was unlike in the past when I was greeted personally and they knew my dog. A couple of weeks ago on a Friday, I dropped my dog off in the morning and she was happy to be at daycare and perfectly fine, when I returned to pick her up, she was limping so badly that she could hardly walk and the receptionist was oblivious. I asked what happened and was told that she was fine which resulted in a veterinary visit that night which I was told that she sprained her shoulder and leg where she was put on medication and restricted activity. I know that the resort cannot watch each dog individually, but, my dog had limited restrictions which were mentioned every time I brought her to daycare. The following Monday, I spoke to one of the leads letting her know how upset I was that my dog got hurt on their watch and also disappointed that the larger facility has resulted in less personal service and lack of attention. As a long term customer, I expected a call from the owners of Tiki Tails, but, never received one.

More importantly, they take excellent care of my tiny little baby Maltese who was downright traumatized by her first two visits to the groomers: PetSmart and PetCo! Yeah, I didn't know any better! *facepalm* I've always had dogs and cats, but she's the first one I've ever had that requires actual grooming on a regular basis -- instead of the occasional bath & nail trim at the vet! Speaking of which, they always grind the nails, never cut! That and expressing the anal glands is included in the price, though you do have to pay extra for tooth brushing! They're so gentle that she doesn't mind going, and she's never traumatized and shaking when I pick her up -- just happy to see me after an hour apart! ALSO... If your dog has more than a little matting despite daily brushing because you've never had a longhaired breed before and don't know what you're doing, remember: humanity over vanity! Take them here to be shaved down gently and safely without being traumatized! Then listen very carefully when they tell you exactly what tools and techniques you should be using from now on, and how often! So far, every groomer there has been great - but Jazz is particularly awesome! Remember to tip your groomer!
