This is the list of my fish that have died in my 250 gallon system 180 display tank within less than 3 days, 3-5 days after adding fish from Seven Seas Aquatics that in turn, introduced velvet into my system. 15 clown fish ( I had a successfully peaceful small harem) Midas Blenny, filefish, melanaurus wrasse, Red corris wrasse, violet dottyback, foxface, juvenile panther grouper, flame angel, scopas tang and the fish I added from them, a lemon peel angel, eibli angel, coral beauty, bannerfish. Remaining alive in the tank for now: Epaulette Shark, snowflake eel, 6 remaining clowns and 4 chromis. This is still subject to change upon death within the next few days. The fill in depth review is too long to post and is included in the pictures along with the conversation with Seven Seas. Hope this keeps it from happening again.

Beautiful Wellso with a strong feeding response. Very healthy coral!

This store is insane! When you walk in the first thing you'll notice is how fresh and clean the place looks and smells! These guys must clean everything daily. I'm convinced it's cleaner than a hospital. They have sitting areas that you can just hang out and watch their ample amount of displays. Extremely fair prices on livestock. It's very rare to walk into a fish store and see prices that compare or even beat online prices. They have one section that all frags are $25 or 5 for $100. They have all their grow out on display so if they don't have something for sale atm you can get an idea on when something new might be for sale soon. They've answered dozens of questions I had without hesitation. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We are very fortunate to have a shop like this one in our area!

Happy Happy Fish.. They all look healthy and happy. Swimming around with pep. Not like they're "in…read morejail" which is how a lot of fish stores look to me. So that's really important to me.

When I lived in St Pete I went to my usual fish store to get my saltwater for my tanks. (I have two…read moresaltwater fish tanks that I've been very successful with.) Before I moved to fort myers I got saltwater from my usual pet store to use when I got down here. Tanks were reset back up. Everything looked great and thriving and happy. I do my water changes regularly for these tanks to maintain the happy environment for my corals and fish. I recently went to Boardroom Aquatics to get my saltwater on 7/19/2024. I did my normal water change as I regularly do. The following day I noticed my octospawn, anemones, and mushroom were all acting weird. I started to do my water tests to see if any of my levels were high to resolve the issue. All tests came back excellent and no levels spiked to cause my corals to start acting weird. The last thing was for me to check the salinity of the saltwater that I just put into the tank. I checked the salinity of my tank and it was WAY too high. The salinity of my tanks sit at 1.024-1.026, the test results were sitting at 1.031. It may not seem like a drastic difference, but it is. I tested the saltwater that they sold me and it was sitting at 1.030 when they GUARANTEED that their salinity sits at 1.024 (hence why I went there). I called Boardroom Aquatics and informed them that the water they sold me was high in salinity and caused my corals to melt away and die. Once again I was told they keep their salinity at 1.024 and that I was doing the test wrong and getting false readings. They informed me to bring in a water sample into the store for them to test. So I did. ‍ MARK started doing his test that I had done prior and got the SAME results as I did INCLUDING the high salinity level. He kept telling me that he was at a loss cause he doesn't know what was going on in my tank to figure out why my corals have died. He told me there was room for human error, when I did the same I've always done when doing water changes and NEVER had any casualties. After going back and forth with the man, I walked out cause I just lost over $700 worth of corals in ONE tank. Mark was talking at me and not to me, he wasn't willing to accept that HIS business had made a mistake and wasn't willing to do anything to make it right. He kept trying to push the issue back onto me, when my boyfriends a marine biologist and has told me what to do when it comes to the tanks to make sure they stay happy and healthy. My boyfriends also had MANY saltwater tanks and has even had a saltwater fish business. The level on unprofessionalism that happened today was not cute, cool, or even remotely acceptable. No accountably on his end what's so ever. Needless to say, I will never step into that store again. I will never recommend that establishment nor will I ever give them a penny. If you know anything about saltwater tanks; corals, fish, invertebrates are NOT cheap. The two anemones that melted and died due to this equal $600. Not to mention the other corals that I've lost. Terrible business ethics and unprofessionalism endured. If I could leave 0 stars I would

Summary: Do not buy from them if you want healthy fish…read more Last weekend we went to Fish Central thinking it was a good place to buy fish. We bought about $45.00 worth of fish from them. To begin with, the person they got to man the store temporarily was inexperienced and could not answer our questions with any surety. Further, he bagged our fish to the water line so there was no surface air for our gouramis to breathe. Because of this, one died en route to our home, another had to be revived. Since the tank closest to the door seems to have no lights in it (or maybe it was merely dark due to a lack of cleaning), we were unable to see the ich on the gold gourami we brought home until we had it in a clean, lit aquarium. It was an extremely aggressive fish (probably because it was uncomfortable from the parasites), so we ended up tossing it. Two fish down so far. Unfortunately the ich had already infected our formerly-clean aquarium as another fish started showing signs of ich within a day or two. We've been treating the whole tank, and it seemed to be clearing up, but today I see that two more fish are quite infested, and another has the first dots indicating it is too. Beyond that, since we had to treat the whole aquarium we lost our leopard cat, as they are poorly affected by the ich medicine. That brings the death toll to three fish so far, with the potential for more casualties. When my husband called to let them know of their tank's ich problem, the manager refused to acknowledge it, and even went so far as to say he didn't want to continue the call. My husband just told him to check his tank and then hung up. I hate to say it, having been raised to support small, independent businesses, but if you want healthy fish buy them at PetSmart in Naples. They have a vet to oversee their stock, and they do preventative treatments for ich for all their tanks on a regular basis. Also, they have a great staff who can answer any of your questions, as well as having a 14-day return policy if there is a problem with your fish. From the poor customer service to the unhealthy fish to the dirty tanks I can say this with conviction - do NOT buy your fish from Fish Central.

Don't trust them to do what they say they will. Sold several hundred dollars of fish and rock and…read moredid not pay me as agreed.
