Not only does it taste bad, but the size is ridiculously small - a quarter pound maybe - for EUR 10! - Fries - excellent! Worth going there only for the fries and that's why I'm giving this place 2 stars - otherwise it would be zero. - Home made mayo - great! Other issues - this place is small and you need a reservation in order to get a seat?!? The way you will know that people who eat there have no idea what a proper burger is supposed to taste like (Ray's Hell Burgers, Counter Burger, Shake Shack, etc.) is that most of the customers use a fork and a knife to eat a burger. Tasty, yes, with fresh ingredients, and the fries were great, but I have some "beef" with the place, if you will: --In addition to using all fresh ingredients (which is great), their gimmick is making their own ketchup. Now on the burgers, this is fine, it tastes good, etc. However, eating fries with it was something else altogether, and their fries weren't "the kind" that could really go without ketchup. Just know ahead of time that their ketchup is made in-house and has a bit of a sweetness to it, definitely containing cinnamon among other ingredients. The final verdict is that we'll almost definitely go back for another burger, but seeing as we'll likely need to make a reservation to get a table, it might not be any time soon. And, when we do go back, I'll be sneaking in some "normal" ketchup for my fries. Their burgers ARE good, though, definitely worth a try (and they have some interesting combinations from which you can choose!) Just remember about the ketchup before you go, and make a reservation - it's pretty much mandatory unless you arrive really early.

They have a variety of names for the different types of burgers they had, depending on the toppings. For the Route 66 Burger, the toppings included cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, grilled onions, bacon, and Thousand Island dressing. This was a very good combination, and the burger itself was delicious. What also impressed me was after I had paid the cashier for my meal, she handed me a Mason Jar for my drinks, and I was thinking, "Well, this is pretty cool!". You can go over to the fountain drinks and fill and refill whatever you like, ranging from fruit juices and lemonade, to regular soft drinks. There's even an ice machine. I still think it's hilarious that I was the only one using this; as I had mentioned in a previous post (at Le Burger, their competitor just a few stores down from them), Europeans must have an aversion to ice in their drinks. It's gotta be an American thing. What's even unique about this place is that you can add mint leaves from the plants that are located at there at the fountain drinks as well! What's also great about the place is that they had a variety of condiments at the table, and you can use as much as you want. They have ketchup, mayonnaise (also called fry sauce here), mustard, Tabasco hot sauce, and a couple of different kinds of barbecue sauces. I really like this place, and it's a real tough call to decide which one is better between this place and Le Burger. It's sort of like comparing McDonald's to Burger King in a way, but unlike these two, Burgerista and Le Burger have much superior burgers. But to be perfectly fair and impartial, I think Le Burger still has the slightly better burger; it tastes better and is more juicier. Still, Burgerista is a very good choice. It's always really nice to have a little taste of 'Murica in Vienna, meaning the drinks in the Mason Jar, the unlimited refills, the giant burgers and fries, and the unlimited condiments at the table!

However, this place has something unique that they are attempting in comparison to McDonalds, Burger King, etc. Their burgers are made fresh. You order and they begin then to prepare it. I'm not going to comment whether its healthy or not nor about the material used because lets be honest its a burger at a fast food chain. The meal was prepared excellent! The amount was perfect and burger tasted great. The fries also tasted great, not stale. What was really nice about this place is what they offer and the service. The burger and fries are all served on a plate instead of a plastic tray or box. They offer plenty of sauces to choose for your burger and along for your fries. Also what is great is they do not charge you for the sauces. Grab as much as you want and they are not in packages. This already shows how effective they are in regards to recycling and efficiently using material. In respect to drinks, they provide you with a glass, again not in a plastic cup. Its a re-fill policy so drink as much as you want. At this specific place, the staff was very friendly. He not only explained how one can make own burger but also took the time to ask what I personally like in a burger to up its taste for me. Thumbs up for that as you would never get that at an ordinary fast-food chain. Last but not least, I am seriously feeling full now. =)

However, the main thing that was great was unlimited refills and ice at the soda station. What was a bit peculiar to me was that most, if not all, customers here didn't use the ice machine at all. Food is great as in any other Burgerista and so are the prices. I only wish they had more staff - it is often only one person on duty, not only taking orders but also preparing them, so you might need to wait for quite a while. I personally suggest to order for take away, because as we all know, the sitting areas in Westbahnhof tend to be pretty gross. That's the only reason I give this particular Burgerista only 3 stars, although I understand it is not exactly their fault.
