Park & Ride - Hollywood Bowl Tried Park & Ride for the first time on October 31, 2024, to see David Gilmour at the Hollywood Bowl, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I bought my ticket in advance through Ticketmaster for $10 plus a $2.45 service charge--super convenient. You can also get tickets on the spot for $15. The trip took about 50 minutes to reach the Bowl and 45 minutes to return, which is excellent given the crowd. After the concert, we were back on the bus to Pasadena in just 10 minutes. For a total of $12.45 with free parking, this is a much better alternative to driving or using Uber. When boarding, they give you a return ticket--don't lose it, as replacements cost $15. They also provide clear instructions before you get off on how to find your bus for the return; ours was the B1 Pasadena line. If you're headed to the Bowl, Park & Ride is the way to go!

Much less hassle than parking/walking at the Bowl. Works well from both Pasadena and LA Zoo in my experience.

By far the best way to go to a show at The Bowl. Forget the crowds and traffic, leave it to these people. So much easier.

Ask the Community - Hollywood Bowl Shuttle - Pasadena

Do we pay for parking at the Pasadena stop for the Hollywood Bowl shuttle?

Not when we took this today! Meet spot was right next to the parking structure entrance. The line usher for the shuttle told us parking is free on level 3. I don't know if this is always the case. It was super convenient!

What time do the shuttles start?

Your ticket should state the arrival time. Overall there is a two hour window which varies by show.

How do these shuttles pick you up after the concert?

Before you get off they give you a ticket (do NOT lose it or you will have to pay to get back on...cash only).… Read more

Hello. Did you receive an actual ticket to print out for the Park & Ride? All I received by email was a receipt. Thank you.

Are shuttle tickets available for purchase at the park & ride location?

Does the bus drop you off at entrance off Hollywood bowl and where does it pick you after the show?

Yes - the drop off right near the entrance, so you don't need to walk all the way up the hill. On the return, they pick up just past the tunnel. They are lined up and depart as soon as each bus fills. By far this is the easiest way to get to and… Read more

Does anyone have a phone number to purchase shuttle tickets? The concert we are attending is leased.

I don't think you can purchase by phone? You can buy tickets for park and ride for leased events from the Bowl website.

It's well kept and easy to access, has kiosks for purchasing and reloading physical TAP cards and a fair amount of benches/seating spaced out as well as trash cans/waste bins and signage to help guild you via maps, digital screens displaying arrival times for the East or West Bound side and some cool designs throughout making it feel very local. My big problem is over the past 10 years, even with improvements the West Bound side continues to experience a ridiculous number of delays and issues. Recently I saw 3 trains for the Eastbound side go by within the span of half an hour while waiting for the West, it was the worst deja vu because it happened in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2021 and now here again today. I have taken it Westbound with zero issue once. To top it off the train I was on had major issues, possibly do to another cart on the track, safety concern or something from the moment we took off. It kept at the slowest pace for three stations stops, eerily so and then came to a complete stop for several minutes where I saw another Eastbound train go by O.O - NO ANNOUNCEMENT whatsoever. I was running later than I wanted to for meeting up in Highland Park. It made me realize boarding here isn't the best, at least not for me. Eventually the train was moving and functioning normal the remainder I was on which was less than a minute as I was only going four stops, guuuuurl... Do better. I found myself at the Fillmore Gold Line Station as the meeting point for a FREE bus shuttle ride for a recent event, the "YEE: San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino". This was my first time here and was absolutely unaware of this station. Finally, I began using the Metro on a regular basis, so I was very much a virgin of the many stops. Although I simply parked here this time, would this introduction somehow lead me back for more!?: Sandwiched between Raymond Ave. and the 110 S. Arroyo Parkway, vehicle entrance was available on Raymond Ave. only. The closest main throughfare was Fair Oaks Ave. a mere two blocks away. Along Raymond Ave. was the onsite Lovebirds Café & Bakery for a drink coffee, pastry, or smoothie fix, across the street was Jones Coffee Roasters for caffeine fiends, and Pie Life Pizza for a heartier meal...just to name a few. Across the tracks along the 110 S. Arroyo Parkway was Gotta Java for more caffeine addicts, My Vegan for some healthy fare, and Sushi Ichi for raw fish...also just to name a few. Hop on and explore eastward towards Azusa, or take it into Union Station in Downtown L.A. to continue towards East L.A. or transfer to either the Purple or Red (the Blue and Green Lines, respectively, connected from the Purple/Red Lines) Lines which took you to various parts around Los Angeles county https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=5-d384Roi4MwWvz1-URW9Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Service - Ummm...you pulled up to the ticket machine, selected either "public parking" or used your TAP card for "Metro", found a spot (there was another driveway arm on Levels 4-5 for Metro users that required a TAP card to pass through), either took the elevator or stairs to the ground floor, and off you went on your way. When you returned, you did the exact reverse. But in the case of non-Metro users, you paid before you exited the structure. Easy-peasy! Parking (Varied; $12.00 All-Day this instance) - This was a five-story structure where Levels 1-3 were for public parking (240 spaces; $12.00 maximum) and Levels 4-5 were for the Metro (160 spaces; FREE). Conveniently, there was an electronic sign that showed how many Metro parking spots were available. Sadly, I left my TAP card at home and was stuck with being charged. I noticed a nearby pay lot that "quoted $5.00" but unsure for how long. And, it appeared there may've been other parking options in the area. But I basically said "eff it" and bit the bullet. Lesson learned for the next time... Atmosphere, décor, ambience - A tall spacious metal covered structure with viewpoints from every level and plenty of both natural and electric lighting guided you through. The station itself was an above-ground track that ran between the backside of businesses, had covered waiting areas on the platform, and was in very close proximity to a couple places for a quick drink or snack. There were no TVs (except for schedule monitors) nor background music (the whiz of the train was rather melodic). Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the Fillmore Gold Line Station with its relative proximity to a few places I frequented, as well as others I wouldn't mind trying. Its location was a healthy walking distance to the Huntington Memorial Hospital and other medical facilities, so this was an ideal spot for commuters who worked in the area. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $12.00; no tipping required). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 4.0 STARS
