We surprised everyone with this, and you should have seen the faces of everyone at the wedding! Awe is one way to describe it. He is amazing and you absolutely have no idea how he could have possibly done the illusions! People were calling him a wizard. He stayed longer than we anticipated and followed up after dinner with more one-on-one magic. It was awesome and I am so glad we did this. His communication during planning was great and he was very easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend Matthew for any function you are thinking of!

Our wedding was September 5, 2015, so my review is a few months late, but I wanted to share with…read morethe Yelp world the wonderful experience we had with Isthmus DJs. Isthmus DJs was the easiest vendor to work with when my husband and I were planning our wedding. Our DJ Tien was a tremendous help throughout the entire process, from providing song check lists during the planning stages, to setting up back lighting for our wedding reception, to the music that was played throughout the night. I have been to many weddings, and there were more people on the dance floor the entire evening than I have EVER seen before. The music selection was an amazing mix of 90s music mixed with today's pop music. We also requested some ethnic music (Bollywood/Hindi and Hmong/Thai music), and Tien was able to accommodate all our requests. Tien played such awesome music that our wedding guests didn't want to leave the party! The uplighting also created the perfect ambience that we were hoping for, and the venue turned out even better than we had imagined. Tien and his team were friendly and professional, and so kind to take song requests from many of our guests. At the end of the night, they were able to quickly pack up and exit the building in time for closing. On another note, we misplaced a few items during the reception, and Tien contacted us early in the morning to let us know that he was in possession of some lost and found items. He was so helpful in every way imaginable. I DEFINITELY recommend Isthmus DJs for any type of event and only hope that I am lucky enough to use their services again in the future. Thank you so much for a memorable evening!

They were responsive, incredibly helpful and absolutely great to work with. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception in two different locations within the park. They handled the tricky situation and acoustics without any issues. We barely had to provide any direction or instruction, they definitely relieved a lot of potential stress on an already busy day! We didn't want any flashy lights or MC and they were very accommodating. They even took the playlist we had created and used it. I would definitely recommend working with these folks.

I learned about this company at one of the Madison bridal expos and the owner, Travis, was by far the easiest vendor to talk to and get information from. He's not pushy or overwhelming. He tells it like it is and gives you the information straight, which I loved!Nothing too flashy or overbearing and was very reasonable compared to other DJs at the expo. We booked pretty early on and when the time came to organize day-of logistics, Travis gave me a call to go over everything about a month in advance and then the DJ that would actually be servicing the wedding called the week prior to go over last minute details. The DJ himself was helpful and organized and put on a great show.
