I learned about this company at one of the Madison bridal expos and the owner, Travis, was by far the easiest vendor to talk to and get information from. He's not pushy or overwhelming. He tells it like it is and gives you the information straight, which I loved!Nothing too flashy or overbearing and was very reasonable compared to other DJs at the expo. We booked pretty early on and when the time came to organize day-of logistics, Travis gave me a call to go over everything about a month in advance and then the DJ that would actually be servicing the wedding called the week prior to go over last minute details. The DJ himself was helpful and organized and put on a great show.

I'd recommend him to anyone that wants to have a great night run smoothly. Everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you Travis!

Our wedding was September 5, 2015, so my review is a few months late, but I wanted to share with…read morethe Yelp world the wonderful experience we had with Isthmus DJs. Isthmus DJs was the easiest vendor to work with when my husband and I were planning our wedding. Our DJ Tien was a tremendous help throughout the entire process, from providing song check lists during the planning stages, to setting up back lighting for our wedding reception, to the music that was played throughout the night. I have been to many weddings, and there were more people on the dance floor the entire evening than I have EVER seen before. The music selection was an amazing mix of 90s music mixed with today's pop music. We also requested some ethnic music (Bollywood/Hindi and Hmong/Thai music), and Tien was able to accommodate all our requests. Tien played such awesome music that our wedding guests didn't want to leave the party! The uplighting also created the perfect ambience that we were hoping for, and the venue turned out even better than we had imagined. Tien and his team were friendly and professional, and so kind to take song requests from many of our guests. At the end of the night, they were able to quickly pack up and exit the building in time for closing. On another note, we misplaced a few items during the reception, and Tien contacted us early in the morning to let us know that he was in possession of some lost and found items. He was so helpful in every way imaginable. I DEFINITELY recommend Isthmus DJs for any type of event and only hope that I am lucky enough to use their services again in the future. Thank you so much for a memorable evening!

She had a selection of designs that fit our jungle party theme (zebra, lion, tiger, peacock, butterfly and rainbow, which the birthday girl wanted), but she was flexible and was able to do Spiderman and dragon designs upon request too. Her face painting is quite artistic, and many of the other children's parents commented on how great it looked. She was also quite reasonably priced, perhaps in part because her business is relatively new. I hope to hire her again at some point and would strongly recommend her to others looking for face painting for their parties or events. Master Works Design Group rates high in all of these categories, I couldn't ask for a better vendor. (honestly!) The owner's personality is humble, kind and calm which is ideal to work with on such a special day/event. He is organized, keeps an extremely clean work area when prepping at the venue prior to the event and is phenomenal at what he does. He will also work within your budget whether it's budget friendly or sky is the limit. I've worked with Master Works Design Group on my personal wedding, my own home landscaping, a family funeral as well as several other events through my job and now, wouldn't work with anyone else if it was always up to me.
