My husband & I were shocked because we weren't told of this fee ahead of time! Because I lived on the other coast, and needed assistance in Miami; we gave her $500 with understanding that the money would go toward services & store purchases. My sister & I made a 2.5 hour trip from Naples to go over reupholstery fabrics with Margarita and her niece. The quote was astronomically high in comparison with other quotes. Miami house project was put on hold due to unforseen issues with the renovation. I contacted Margarita to let her know this & explained that I'd be in contact when we moved into the home. There was a scheduled appointment in May 2019 for a 2nd house visit which was cancelled due to a complication babysitting her grandson. After trying to contact Margarita to finalize the job (sent 5 emails & 2 phone calls with NO reply) I received email stating "not taking in new projects & she hopes I find someone" This was not a new project - we gave her $500.
