She even raised the volume of her voice over mine when I repeatedly said I was not interested. Now she was creating a scene in front of the people in line behind me. She then said, "I'm just doing my job, sir" with a very snotty and disrespectful tone. She even had the nerve to say that I would still get the discount if my application wasn't accepted...suggesting that I have bad credit. No, I don't have bad credit, I just don't want a Kohl's card, and I definitely don't want to be badgered about it. I understand Kohl's trains cashiers to present the credit card option to customers, but she went way beyond that and was pestering...and creating a scene in front of other customers. This sweet little thrift store is located across the street from the church's Houg Hall and it is run by church volunteers. Since the 1982 they have been selling well priced and gently used clothing, accessories, home goods, furniture, books, and more. They accept donations and proceeds go to outreach ministries. Follow the All Saint's Thrift Store on Facebook for updates on inventory and special events like yard sales. This is the perfect place to find a treasure and support a good cause.

I felt blessed that I found the one item I was looking for a set of dishes wrapped up and priced accordingly. Then they held it at the register while I looked at the mess of shoes/sneakers not marked with sizes. Had to look everywhere for my size but did find two pair which I purchased. Great savings! Finally paid for everything and a gentleman helped us carry the heavy box to the delivery area. Whew!
