The worst "Y" in the NW Florida area. They send out surveys to ask you your opinion of their…read moreservices etc. and when you answer honestly and state your concerns you receive a snide and condescending email from the so called "director" Autumn Navarro. I stated my concerns regarding class crowding and unsafe practices by members that appear to have some form of emotional troubles or neurological issues. For that crime I was lectured on how I need to be more "patient" with other members as each individual is on their own "fitness journey". Additionally, she went on to state that there were no crowding issues because the classes (according to her) can fit more than what they don't actually have room for currently. I am sure she is not concerned about crowding because the more people they squeeze into a small room the better reflection on her and her poor management of the Navarre Branch. Basically via her snide and condescending email message she was telling me she has no regard for my concern as they relate to members and if I don't like it, I can go elsewhere because as far as she is concerned she doesn't want any negative feedback to reflect on her and her inability to manage group classes. Avoid this branch and attend at Gulf Breeze or Pensacola. Finally, this gym is dirty as well. The only cleaning of equipment is done by the class participants.

I was helped by Annie and she was very helpful, informative and friendly. She gave me the membership application, and other flyers for different programs they offer. She even gave me a folder to put all the forms in--very thoughtful. There is free WiFi, a Kids Zone, and plenty of parking. I believe they are also in the process of expanding which is definitely a good idea. Will do another update the next time I come in.

The school lunch wasn't horrible in my opinion, I actually enjoyed it (especially the year it was free). The parking situation is a bit upsetting you have to fight for a parking spot but if you don't get one or you start driving in the middle of sophomore year you have to park at the NYSA which means you then have to walk and not only that but on rainy days it FLOODS terribly. There were days, in which it rained that I would go early to give people rides to school from the NYSA because by the time they got there they were soaked! The hallways were also extremely overcrowded (I'm talking shoulder to shoulder- no room for Jesus close) Hopefully the new High School helps a bit with the over crowding. Navarre does offer dual enrollment and online classes through FLVS that I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of! (Best thing I ever did) The principal is also one of the most delightful ladies I have ever met.

First of all, the lines to this place are atrocious. They have people flooded out into the cafeteria just waiting to enter. I'm talking hundreds of customers lined up just standing outside the Snack Line. Some days I'll be waiting for over 5 minutes just waiting to get inside. Now to the food. The food is the utmost worst quality. I have never had worse in my life. Would rate less than 1 star if I could.

I will be brutally honest, and I will go through my school day with each of my teachers. I will only use the first letter of their last names. My first period is Mrs. R. She is my advanced science teacher. This class is really nice, and we even participate in the science fair! She wants you to do your best. My second period is Mrs. P with English language arts. She is really nice, and does prize drawings for tickets. I like these tickets, because it promotes good learning habits. You get a ticket if you answer a question she asks. For third period, I have Ms. P for critical thinking (not the same Ms. P). She is nice, and doesn't like too much noice. She has this bell that she rings when we get too loud. At the end of each lesson we do, we have a certification test we do, and if we pass, we get a prize. Fourth period is history with Mr. M. He loves Batman, and he hides a Batman figurine around the school with clues. If we find the Batman, we could win tickets. He rewards tickets if we do something nice, or answer a question. His teaching methods are great and fun. Now for lunch. Sometimes, the school lunch is great (like macaroni and cheese), but for the chicken sandwiches, and hamburgers. The buns on them are so hard! Now fifth period is band with Mr. W. I personally play the clarinet, so that's fun. I don't have any problems with band. Now sixth period is advanced math with Mrs. G- or was. Through this school years, she's been gone approximately 2 months. Now we're getting a new math teacher, but he's starting Monday, March 2, and today is Saturday, February 28th, so I can't judge him yet. Mrs. G was so nice, and wanted the best for everyone. I completely understand why Mrs. G left, for health reasons. Now for overall. The only reason I rated this school 3 stars is from the students and the lunch. I think the dean should enforce referrals for profanities more often. I hear students cuss right near teachers, and they sometimes don't do anything. Thank you for your time, thank you teachers for doing what you do. Thank you all staff! LETS GO BULLDOGS!
