The staff was as friendly as a school of dolphins (we did see a few on the Pier), and when we discovered that a couple of items didn't quite fit, they graciously allowed us to swap them for the right sizes. INCREDIBLE customer service!!!…read more This may sound a little crazy, but we have been to the area two years in a row and last year I saw this turtle stuffed animal that I loved but didn't get. I am a turtle fiend, and this specific turtle was made out of a material I really like and I had not seen one like him before. Of course, I regretted this decision for the whole year and when we came back, they still had it, and I, in my indecisiveness, did not get it (I wanted to think on it). On our second to last day, I went to get it and they were sold out. Heartbroken, I asked an associate if they had any in the back, and she said no. I was willing to let it go, but she said that she could ask the other store if they had one for me. After making multiple phone calls and texts, we found out that the other store (over an hour away!) had one (one as in ONE. there was ONE left) and someone there was making a trip down and turned around and grabbed it for me (so we didn't have to drive down there). She told me a time it would be there, and I got my turtle. All she had to say was "No, we don't have it, sorry," but she (and the driver from the other store) went way out of their way to make me happy. Definitely shopping here if we come back for a third time.

I am by no means a "tree hugger" no offense meant to those that identify with that. But...I was a little disturbed and quite upset to see real sharks inside of a jar (not alive) in blue liquid. Because of this, I will probably never shop with this store again. There is another souvenir shop up the street that I will use. The other shop also supports local artists.
