This is an update from Lochlan H. Waldo. My last review was informal, so I'll put things into perspective here. 7th grade was like a frat party every day (without all the cons and drugs ofc), I was loud, obnoxious, it was great, this year, I tried to lock in after getting in some problems in Woodlawn, (great school, go there instead), and I was met with a 0, a 36, and a few other grades. I am usually pretty good at math, and that was completely my fault. Mr. Mendez is probably the best math teacher you could get, he doesn't give out homework much, but anyways. I usually am pretty chill about these things, but last year I saw a disabled child walk onto the stage and spank his...y'know what. It was weird, I feel weird writing it here. I feel bad for him. Because all the kids laughed at him, that propelled him to do it again, a few days later. I will admit, it was funny at the time, still is, but to be honest, kids like that are the kindest kids there are, usually. Coming from someone who has made some brash choices, made fun of a kid who had anger issues, almost got myself into a bad situation, that is not the same. The teachers for the special education classes were great, very kind. The problem here isn't the teachers...mainly, Mr. Veres was the coolest science teacher you can get. Let's move on. Most of the kids at this school are chill, that's not what this was about. Guidance counselor is great. But I have got one problem with the dean or principal that isn't even there anymore. 2 years ago, I was eating lunch when someone on the stage was talking, I was a little late to put the phone down when he grabbed it from my hand, if that thing broke, I would've been the happiest kid alive, which sounds weird, but he would've been in a heap of trouble if it did. That was one annoying thing, the other thing that's been going on all around the school district is the rancid ah food. It looks like a homeless man that lives in the sewer threw together a bunch of things he found in the dumpster. The only good food there is the chicken sandwiches. I used to be a fatass, now I don't eat much as I used to, and I've come to terms with this food. Bring your own lunch, or you might end up with a deadly, mysterious infection, disease, or cancer in 20 years. Not to mention, you have to pay for water?! Milk is free with the lunch, but water is a dollar. Istg there is nothing remotely healthy in this school, canned fruit, apples that have been frozen for 2 years most likely, and cold broccoli is the only thing that's good for you. I'll stop whining tho, those peaches are good ash. Also, I hate band, I'm not gonna say why here, the teachers have always been great, but there's always a certain smell in the high school band room, I've heard. I'm done with that, I'll just stick to guitar and burn my saxophone. This is my review of Holley-Navarre Middle School. Overall, it's a rancid school, drop out and go to Woodlawn. Oh, since no one else wants to say it, I will. The phone thing is stupid, I hope the district sees this. They care more about phones than they care about threats, or an active shooter. If they see your phone, you're written up, even if it's a very important message, relating to family problems. read more
