A cute little over-packed shop with all the sauces, spices, chocolates, teas, soups and other packaged foods one misses from the Netherlands.
They also have a selection of refrigerated sausages, sandwich meats, cheeses, frozen herring, etc. Nothing that is freshly baked, but lots of ingredients to do your own fresh baking of Dutch goods - pre-made Boeterkoek, or the packages to make it yourself, for example.
For the Gluten Free among you - not a great selection, but that's not their fault - Dutch GF goods don't tend to be exported en masse. But they DO have Stroepwafel in GF.
And lastly - the chatchkes. Oh boy, the chatchkes. The "Opa's Little Favourite" onesies. The NL stickers for your car. The Delft salt & pepper shakers. The clog-shaped fridge magnets! The plethora of orange!
The owner's an odd fellow with a mildly disturbing sense of humour, but on the plus side, he can take it as well as he dishes it out.
Four stars because freshly-made would be nice, and because a lot of what they have there is on the cusp of its best-before. That said, he is totally open about it and will discount the items for that reason.
