The massage was the most relaxing massage I've ever had. The pressure was amazing and I was beyond sad when it ended. I highly suggest stopping here. I was amazed by the great deal I was able to purchase on Groupon and figured I would help out a local business. I read some positive reviews and thought the experience would be amazing. We arrived at the location with everything as described in the directions. It was easy to locate. The building itself was somewhat outdated with a crack in the glass window. It was a little alarming considering the area. However, I did not let this deter me. Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice woman who introduced herself and checked me in. She told me I would owe an additional $2 for tax and that the massage was for 50 minutes. Well, I rechecked my Groupon and nowhere on there does it state the additional tax or the reduction of ten minutes. This was rather off putting as I had never been to this establishment prior to today. I paid the $2 considering the great deal I was able to purchase even for 50 minutes it was still worth it. It just was not what was advertised. She also did not know how to work the cash register (new to the job) and could not make change for my $20. Lucky for her, I had a $10. After we were able to square that away, I also learned she was the massage therapist as well. When I made my appointment it was with owner, Kim. I felt that if my therapist was going to be changed, I should have been notified and given the option to reschedule. My therapist was welcoming and even set my daughter up in a little outer room so that she could read while I had a massage. The room itself was nice with dim lighting and nice mood music. The massage table was comfortable and my therapist overall did a wonderful job. However, she did try to upsell me more expensive massage oil which she claimed had medicinal value. I thought this was extremely tacky as I have never been asked to pay additional during a massage. She also told me about her prior job of administering colonic therapy. This was rather off putting and I did tell her that I thought it was distasteful. The remainder of the massage was fine. She did not use hot towels on my back prior to the massage which I always find relaxing. I would probably not return to this location based on personal preference of things that I like during a massage. However, the therapist was nice, the place was decent and the price was right. I never ever ever leave a bad review for any business especially a small business as I know all business may have issues were all imperfect right. The behavior of this establishment is beyond un-acceptable. First I had an appointment with Kim 7/8/21 I sent message on the app stating I would need to reschedule my appointment and if she could assist. No response. I leave another message 7/15/21 requesting to reschedule my appointment still no response. 7/19/21 comes and I message what is apparently not the business line but Kim's personal number to ask if she got my message to reschedule still nothing. I finally text the number again and ask to cancel my membership, not the appointment but the membership as I no longer wished to use there establishment due to the delay in response. Now I finally get an answer from not Kim but her 14 year old son telling me this isn't the business number it's her personal cell phone that she doesn't keep with her when working. He gives me the business number. I call the business number it doesn't ring but sends you to voicemail and no one ever got back to me. Finally today I get a response not with and apology but a dissertation as to why Kim has delayed in booking due to family issues. But they made sure to mention they don't refund cancellations. I said I didn't cancel I asked to reschedule but I would like to cancel my membership and be refunded for what I paid since I will no longer be using there services. They refuse to refund me and I received a cancellation of the 7/8/21 service today 7/20/21. Not a cancellation of membership like I asked for. The disappointment is Kim is a good massage therapist however her establishment business ethic is poor hence the reason for the bad review. I wished to have solved this matter without coming to Yelp but unfortunately this had happen. My membership still hasn't been cancelled and I guess i can kiss my 53$ goodbye as they refuse to refund me . This is why it is hard to support small businesses for acts like this. What adds insult to injury is every-time I texted the electronic number asking them to cancel I kept getting and automated message. Now out no where someone text me . This is unprofessional. This is my experience I know some people adore this place but my experience hasn't been the best and unfortunately I tried to handle this matter the right way but it seems to no avail I haven't gotten a call back but the run around and we are all impacted by Covid so being to the fact that I tried to support a small business and get treated like this is wrong . 53$ gone when it could have been used to add more life to my household. read more

Booked a Groupon for myself and my husband for 60 minute Swedish massage. Place has no sign says their name nor does the building have a single sign to say what is inside. After seeing the address on the building with a crack in the window, and walking inside, it took several minutes to be acknowledged. Massage was good though some areas felt rushed. A bit unprofessional as staff could be heard talking while you sat waiting to get started, so your massage was really 40 minutes and quite misleading since I was told 50 minutes after booking it. I decided to go with Kim because she was given very good reviews. She did an amazing job! I can honestly say it was one of the beat massages I have ever had. I went for a Swedish massage and reflexology foot. IT WAS AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back. Total was $69 and it was worth sooooooooooo much more. I had Kim (the owner) She told me that the sign out-front states that it says wellness center coming soon because the owner of the property whom which she is renting from has YET to give her permission to put a sign up for her business. So that is NOT under her control. Anyway, Inside was very clean.The room smelled great. She asked me my trouble areas and we talked for a few minutes about anything special I needed to avoid or work on. She let me know to communicate with her on pressure the whole time if I needed it lighter or harder. I have gotten massages since my early teens due to medical reasons so just not for relaxation so she definitely knew what she was doing. I am super satisfied and I CANNOT wait to go back. If you set up an appointment with a new customer, common sense would be to tell them that your place of business has a sign that is all white but nothing on it. And that it doesn't even have the name of your establishment anywhere outside that someone would even now that you are a spa/whatever.
