Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know how my experience was when I walked in this hair salon. I wanted to get my hair highlighted and I stopped by Holistic Image Beauty Salon to check it out because I saw that it had 4.9 stars. When I first walked into the establishment I was greeted by this lady named Roxanna. She asked me ,"How can I help you?" I responded and said I was looking for a salon to get my hair done and I was on your website and I saw that you had 4.9 stars. I showed her a picture of what I would like done and first thing that came out of her mouth was ,"Oh, that's gonna be expensive!" I then replied and said'" Can you do it though?" Then, she replied and said," Yeah but its gonna be expensive!" I then asked her," How much is it?" She said," Your looking to spend around 480 dollars!" I then replied, " Money is not an issue, I want to know if you can do it?" She then responded, " Yes... but your looking at a very long process!" OK... at this point I'm already offended because she either did not want to help me or she was being racist at this point! All I wanted was to get my hair done and have a great experience. I have paid over 500 dollars for a Japanese straight perm and have waited in a salon from 10am to 6:30 pm. before. I felt hurt that someone would even treat anyone this way after trying to give you business!! I will never go to this place again and you just lost a valued customer that was willing to drop money in your salon!!! read more

All the girls do a great job, but I don't trade BIANCA for the world. I've been going with her for 3 years now. Color, haircuts, all my hair needs she's my go to gal. I'm always beyond satisfied with her work. Even though she's one of the youngest there, she's incredibly talented. She's honest (if she thinks it doesn't go with you she'll explain to you why), creative (not afraid to experiment my crazy ideas) and she's simply awesome. They do have specials through out the week for example Tuesday's the women's haircuts are $16 (compared to $25 all the other days) and they include wash, cut, and style. If you're looking for great stylists, this is definitely the place for both men & women. read more

We came to see the barbers, but were not in, so the girl who greeted us and didnt have a client said very confidently she could do the job...NO... she cant! See pictures and judge for yourself. AMAZING AMANDA! She helped me makeover my 84 year old mother who had a years worth of old extensions matted in her hair. She carefully removed them, took out all the matting, washed, cut, dried, and styled my Mom to perfection! Came to the salon with extreme caution because of how many terrible haircuts I've had in the past. Walked in and met Bianca, who washed my hair gently but thorough which was a nice change from the vigorous scratching most salons do. She sat me down and I explained everything I wanted (layers, undercut, bangs, no side fringe) and she executed it PERFECTLY! I haven't been so happy with a hair cut in so long. She did a clean fade on my undercut, fixed my terrible layers and bangs and on top of it all she blow dried and curled my hair for me! All for an amazing 25$ I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis to keep up my hair and have fun with Bianca's creativity. read more

I am rating this salon with a five star because some of the girls are very polite and professional. However, the only issue that I have is Clarissa. I usually don't write reviews bad or good but I had to take my time to write this one. I was her client and one day I couldn't make it to my appointment but to begin she was running late. So I had to cancel my appointment last minute and she didn't have any soon opening for me and said she will charge me a $25 fee next appointment for last minute cancelling which I agree with. I had booked two appointments for my daughters one for 8/5/21 for a photo session for her XV and 8/7/21 for her party. On 8/5/21 I texted her to confirm the appointment I which she replied she wasn't going to make it for this appointment. I asked her if it was because I had previously cancelled mine last minute and she never responded to me. To me is not only unprofessional but very rude. Long story short, I was able to find someone for 8/5/21 and my friend recommend me with Roxanna which she was able to get her in on 8/7/21 which she did an amazing job at not only taking this appointment last minute but the way my daughter's hair came out. I am a business owner and I understand the fees but as every business professionalism and good customer service keep businesses alive. read more

Holistic image is by far the greatest hair salon in the Riv. The ladies there are always nice, Edith who is the main person there is interesting and lovely to be around. When you go for 5 dollars more they wash your hair and give you a massage which feels amazing. read more

What a joke this place. I paid big bucks for a nice hairstyle for my daughter's university graduation and received a hairdo that looked like it was made my monkeys. Scratch that. I had both my makeup and hair done by the owner for prom. Problem? The job was teribble. She lied to me over the phone and told me the hairstyle would be $40 to simply curl my hair, but then she raised the price to $50 if I wanted my hair up. My makeup was a huge mistake. She left her eyeshadow swap meet glitter stuck to my lashes. I wanted a natural look and the foundation was too cakey. I'm not makeup savvy, so I took my lashes and she lied to me and said they were too long and could not be cut (prior to me knowing I could cut lashes), so she made me buy her own. $10 for lashes that did not last the entire night (they came off after 3 hours) and $5 for gluing them. Unfortunately my experience was not great for $120. Think twice, especially for the makeup done by her. read more
