My current provider is also good - takes time to hear my problems and makes sure to explain things thoroughly with me. I'm very greatly that my current provider helped identify the root causes of something I've struggled with for years. The front desk staff are also friendly. Only thing is that often times I need to wait at least 10-15min past my scheduled appointment time before I can be seen.

I have been a patient at this clinic for years and trusted my provider deeply, which is what made…read morethis experience so upsetting. At my most recent visit, I paid my $50 copay for an insurance-covered, in-network appointment. The visit itself was fine. Labs and a ultrasound were ordered, and we discussed a plan. However, when I went to check out, I was told that I am now required to either enroll in a mandatory "wellness program" for $29/month or pay an additional $50 per visit on top of my copay because insurance "doesn't pay the clinic enough anymore." I was told that if I declined, I would no longer be allowed to see my provider or receive care at the clinic. I declined the wellness program and left feeling blindsided and abandoned, especially while waiting on important test results. After I contacted Blue Cross Blue Shield to file a complaint and ask weather this was appropriate for in-network care, the clinic later contacted me and informed me that I was being released as a patient. Prior to that, my emails expressing concern went unanswered, and a prescription refill request submitted over two weeks earlier remained unprocessed. The only communication I received was my lab order. During the phone call informing me of my release, I requested my medical records and clarification about my prescriptions. I was told my "tone" would not be tolerated, interrupted mid-sentence, and then placed on hold indefinitely. I was not yelling or being rude, I was advocating for my health. Ending care under these circumstances, while prescriptions and results were pending and concerns were unresolved, was deeply distressing. I would strongly caution prospective patients to ask very clear questions upfront about mandatory fees, insurance-covered care, and continuity if issues arise.

To me, I was paying a lot of money ($185) to go see the doctor per visit to get help that I needed. I was told about paying 6 months in advance for drs visits, nutritionist service, supplements, and extra information about my disease. I didn't feel comfortable putting money upfront until I saw improvements in my health with the dr., plus it's a lot to pay up front. So I paid as I went and did everything that he and the nutritionist told me to do. I did get a comment in an email "Let me know when you are 100% committed to your health." I am sorry but that really bothered me. So, I don't put up all this cash up front does not mean I am not committed? It just means I am broke. I was spending roughly $400-$600 a month on visits when I could go, I was sick for a while. Also, the nutritionist was suppose to send me information about AIP/GAPS recipes on 3 different occasions. I never got an email from her for any additional information I asked. I felt that I wasn't getting enough service for the money I was spending. I would get charged for visits that really didn't need to happen. I honestly feel if you are not invested in the "6 month plan" then you might as well not even bother and there may be additional fee's.

Dr. Gerstmar saved my colon and my life by devising a successful treatment for my ulcerative…read morecolitis. Two weeks into Dr. G's treatment, I saw incredible results, and today, 3 years after I first contacted Dr. G, I am back to my old, healthy self. I live a completely normal life (something that back in 2012 when I was told by top 10 New York City specialists that I would die or have my colon removed, seemed impossible), my diet is back to normal, and as a result of the changes I made in the process, I live a healthier life and feel in control of my own health. I came to Dr. G physically weak, in a state of panic, afraid of a mysterious disease, of my own body which seemed to be out of control for no apparent reason, and with horrible memories of past failed treatments. A successful treatment was thus a matter of both my physical and mental health. Not only did I regain a normal existence, return to my studies and work, and avoid any kind of surgery, I also found in Dr. G a source of constant support and encouragement. Slowly, with increasing improvements in my health, I began to believe in my own recovery. Dr. G taught me how to remain calm and positive through the ups and downs, how to live with the disease, and how to rise above it. A sense of gratitude to Dr. G for giving me back my life accompanies me every day. Dr. G is the best doctor I have met, is the first person I contact with any kind of medical problem, and I remain his patient.

I understand that…read morehe is no longer affiliated with Purity Integrative Health; however, I feel it is important to speak about what happened in order to find closure. I underwent a mild HBOT treatment with him and completed four sessions. I felt significantly worse afterward and was never given a proper explanation as to why the treatment did not work or why my symptoms worsened. I believe I lost a meaningful portion of my quality of life as a result of what I consider a faulty or inappropriate treatment. After these sessions, the clinic stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. This lack of communication was distressing and left me feeling abandoned. I am reaching out in the hope that Purity Integrative Health can help me find clarity, accountability, and closure. The holistic health industry is not simply about positive marketing or appearances--it involves real responsibility. Dr. Dan Morlan also stopped responding to my emails when I attempted to discuss my concerns. Too often, individuals avoid accountability for problems they helped create, and unfortunately, this is not uncommon in medicine. At the time, I considered letting the matter go. However, I now suffer from ongoing and severe brain fog, which I strongly associate with those treatments. No amount of positive or misleading reviews can negate my lived experience. This situation is serious. I sincerely hope that Purity Integrative Health will help bring justice, transparency, and peace to this matter.

I received a bill, that I had already paid, two years beyond the service date. I went back and forth with them for quite some time and eventually, they agreed to drop the duplicate bill. However, I don't think I should have to defend myself against payments I've already made. I would expect that the billing department be capable of keeping track of payments if this was a professional establishment. I received another bill on Friday for services from June of last year - well I tell you what, I've never received a bill for these services until now, and they had the nerve to charge me a late fee. It makes me wonder if they are really doing so poorly that they have to send bills years late to cash out on late fees? Do they need the extra $10 that desperately? I have requested a copy of the invoice number and date of the last invoice sent to me and we will see what they say. Overall, the service I received at the old location was good. The new location, I was disappointed, My bill says that I am no longer welcome back, for not paying the bill, that they didn't send me until a full year had passed. Unbelievable. RUN!

She answered all my questions and provided suggestions for supporting my son. We've gone to other pediatricians and she was the first pediatrician that had patience and empathy for my toddler son that gets scared of doctor's offices. She let him put the stethoscope on his chest, and she pointed to him where to put it. She had light up toys to distract him and let him play with. I've never had a doctor that prepared or patient. We will continue going to Flourish Family Medicine. There were a lot of forms to fill out before the appointment which took up a lot of time, but it did provide the doctor with a lot of information, so I appreciated it.

My only bit of feedback is around the hounding that the office staff does to get patients to fill out the questionnaires. For my baby's first appt I was having some trouble adjusting at home to all of my new responsibilities that came with taking care of a newborn, my toddler and myself having just finished a high risk pregnancy for gestational hypertension. As I was finally sitting down to complete the paperwork prior to the deadline while in between feeds I received yet another reminder call. I explained my situation to the lady that called me and she had very little empathy.
