I thought the staff was friendly and that it didn't look like much from the outside but the inside was maintained beautifully. If I'm ever on this side of the mountain again I'll be returning. I got a killer t-shirt of a mountain man with an awesome beard and a rifle chasing a bear for $5 there. Now your gas light is on, and you don't want to press it. Grantsville is not and easy on/easy off town. You get off, travel south for a bit, then find the main drag. There are a few gas stations to choose from, and you'll be fine at any of them. On the bright side, you get to see Grantsville; a charming little town a few miles off the beaten path and a glimpse into one of many small town Utah portraits. There are worse things to see. For travelers along I-80 WB. Seriously? You didn't get gas before leaving Salt Lake? And you passed the Tooele exit without gas? Well, you better get it here. Again, if you've got a few minutes, it will be a fun trip into town. For non-travelers. This is as good as place as any to get gas. Not a lot of services here, but you've got the pay at the pump and the easy access, and it's on the west side of town near the turnoff to the Willow Canyons, so spread the love around and get your Sinclair on. Not much in the way of a shop, but it'll fill your tank.

I love saving money- and when you come here, you can use the gas rewards you earned (just from shopping at Smith's)! Every one hundred points you earn from grocery shopping, you can save ten cents per gallon! It's a pretty amazing deal so this has been going on for years now. It's a pretty clean gas station, conveniently located on the Smith's parking lot, and right next to Roxberry Smoothies.

Normally I think a place should stand on its own merits, but when you look at the interior of Harts and see that they pretty much offer the same kind of convenience store stuff and they're 30 feet away, you're not left with much choice but to go with the cheaper gas. Still, this Chevron is well maintained, clean, and the staff here is friendly. And you can't beat the location if you're on I-15 and you want an easy-off/easy-on stop for fuel. It's on the south side of 7200 South and there's a light right there to help you get back on to 72nd when you're in a hurry. Not bad, but I'll probably stick with the other gas across the street.

OMG, things have certainly changed since then! ;) Kountry Korner is still going strong, having been acquired and managed most recently by the 'Harts' brand which operates 3 gas stations I frequent here locally. The Harts iteration of Kountry Korner is a clean, well-managed and attractive property with friendly employees, a grill and food items, standard convenience store fare attractively arranged, and the ubiquitous gas pumps to fill up your vehicle. There is an air compressor to fill your tires, and it's free! (I hate being forced to get quarters to buy freakin' AIR - it's a particular peeve of mine) and they have a car wash which can either be automated, or you can choose to hose down your own vehicle in the spray bays - as the weather often necessitates a rinse-off of your roadster to keep road grime at bay. It's a one stop shop for car convenience catering to those coming out of the AF Canyon as well.. It's an excellent convenience combination! If you are in the Highland/Alpine area and require refueling of either your vehicle or of yourself, you could do far worse than heading over to the Harts Kountry Korner.

I also seen milkshakes in an ice cream tub, which was an interested concept. I thought about trying it but past on that. I was able to collect a puff plus box; for the marathon my nose was running and snag a 4 count of allergy meds. Clean restrooms, with warm automatic water, was a plus plus to me. Friendly customer service as well. This was the very fist gas station I have ever seen that had a self check out. Which was simple and easy to use. It came in handy when running short on time; and they have a long line.
