I got a response before 7am and someone was out by 11am. I was impressed by the quick response and showing up on time a couple days before the holiday. Nestor, the tech who came out was friendly, respecting of our home and in my mind conducted one of the most thorough and honest free estimates. We have a pest contract with another company and he suggested we reach out to them as well to see if they would handle, what we thought to be a raccoon as to not violate our contract. He went into the attic (helping me move boxes so we could get into the second attic entrance) and found that it was a rat caught in a trap and it happened to be right on top of our hallway attic entrance flopping around. I was able to call my pest control company and they removed the rat and rechecked entry points and helped seal other potential areas that Nestor pointed out to me during the inspection. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and have reached out regarding a treatment for the attic to neutralize the rat feces.

ABC Home made a in-person consultation with us immediately. Jimmy the representative was so kind and took Covid seriously. He easily identified all our open access points on our home and came up with a decisive plan to help us get rid of our squirrel problem without harming them. Their prices were honest. He even told me a little about their company and made me like them even more. We decided to go with this company and it was a great decision. He immediately got us scheduled as soon as he would with their guy Alex. He came out a few days later and he set up the one way exit and sealed all the holes. We had no squirrel problem within days. After the squirrels were gone he came back and sealed the holes for good. This price also included a one year warranty so I can rest assured. This problem has been going on since 7/27/23, over 4 months! His mixture has killed everything! Don't know if it will ever come back. The Manager was out again to personally treat my lawn on 11/18 and stated he would be in touch with me monthly to keep me updated on the progress. Coincidentally on 12/11, I received a form letter from the Orkin Regional Manager stating that my account has been "transitioned" to TruGreen and to contact them with any concerns. Upon receiving the letter I immediately contacted the Service Manager and left a voicemail for him to return my call. Haven't received a call back as of this posting. They literally dumped my problem onto someone else's lap. This is a problem the Service Manager assured me would be taken care of. Come to find out all along it was lip service. In short I had a beautiful plush, green lawn which is now burnt in spots. I'm thinking it would have been better leaving the Dove Weed alone, at least it was green. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ORKIN TO ANYONE! I've contacted several consumer advocate organizations in the hopes they can offer me some help.

Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. All in all, we're happy with the service and recommend them for termite bonds. Every employee that's serviced our home has been on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

I have been a client since February 2025. I initially hired them to handle a rodent issue in my grill area--a contained problem. I paid them $1,800 to seal my home and signed up for their monthly monitoring contract. Despite this significant investment, the result has been a total failure. Here is the reality of their "service": * Zero Results: After nearly a year of payments, I have the exact same infestation in my grill area. The initial exclusion work was clearly ineffective. * Blatant Laziness: I have watched technicians arrive and sit in their vehicle for 30 minutes before finally getting out to do "work." They are burning the clock on my dime. * Proof of Negligence: The incompetence is staggering. One technician actually admitted to me that a rat had made a nest inside a bait box. This is undeniable proof that they are not checking the equipment I am paying them to monitor. They are simply going through the motions. * High Turnover & No Accountability: I have seen three or four different technicians during this time. There is no consistency, and they clearly cannot keep staff. When I demanded a manager come out to see this mess personally, they refused and just sent another low-level technician. I think the real problem is that they only come every other month which give weed time to germinate and grow again. We even receive a courtesy reminder call anytime a tech plans to visit. The tech is a pleasure to work with! Within just a few months, they've destroyed my yard. Their techs have no clue what they are doing. The office person typed up the ticket to treat for a high ph, he treated with lime... because that's what the ticket said. I stopped him mid application but it was too late since he'd done half the yard. Then, the manager comes to put down sulfur to fix it. A week or so later, the tech came and put sulfur down again because they didn't update their system or ticket. Finally he comes to treat the weeds with a broad application because his spot treatments are inefficient in the 5 minutes he comes to spot treat and he destroys my yard. All that money and time on sod and plugs. My yard looks horrific! Incompetence needs to be babysat if you are going to have them working for you! I requested they pay to fix all the dead areas and he said no and canceled our service. Refused to fix it. Don't waste your time or money in hiring this company!
