I reached out to E'den's and they were super responsive and informative. They came out, gave wrote down everything I wanted done, and gave me a full breakdown estimate a couple days later. Needless to say, I moved forward with them. I have new sod and my backyard no longer looks like a nightmare. I went ahead and asked them to put together a new fire pit for me as well and I was definitely not disappointed with the outcome - they even went the extra mile to fill in some holes for me from the dogs and surrounded the pit with a layer of pretty rocks. I am still working with them now for further renovations and am excited to see what more is to be done!

TriCity Outdoors did a superb job in the designing and building of our fire pit patio. Our…read morerelationship with Richard Gilman began when we were searching for a contractor to build our fire pit patio at our home in Deland, Florida. During our search of contractors, we spoke with Richard and found him to be knowledgeable, honest, and conscientious. During the entire process quality of workmanship, attention to detail and outstanding customer service were demonstrated by his entire team. The location for our project posed some interesting terrain challenges, including a stepped-down path, but it turned out to be a wonderful, collaborative process. They listened carefully to what we envisioned and provided their opinions and feedback based upon their experience. They spent a good deal of time planning, measuring, remeasuring and designing the project prior to submitting the permit. Richard and his designer Brian went above and beyond during this planning/approving process to ensure the permitting would go smoothly, and it did. During installation of the project Michael and JR were meticulous in leveling, measuring and preparing the surface for the pavers. Michael in particular has an excellent creative eye and ability to see forward to the end result, so a few slight modifications could be made along the way where needed. As a result, when the rest of the crew arrived to install the pavers, the process went quickly and smoothly and the end result is absolutely beautiful, and exactly what we wanted! Richard and his team made our fire pit patio building experience a rewarding and pleasurable one. They were always communicative, respectful and pleasant to work with. They exceeded the level of customer service/satisfaction we were expecting. Richard, thanks to you and your crew of professionals for their hard work and for a job well done! We will use TriCity Outdoors again for any future landscaping, irrigation or patio needs, and recommend them to others without hesitation.

I am writing to share a warning regarding our recent experience with S & L Landscape Diversified in…read moreFlorida, owned by Steve Nease. Our project was significantly overcharged, including instances of double billing. The company used low-quality materials that did not match what was agreed upon: the sod was low-grade and brown, the Agave plants were frostbitten and rotten, and no weed-prevention matting was installed, leading to immediate weed growth. The final result is worse than our original garden, and we now have to hire another contractor to fix the damage. Additionally, because Steve failed to pay his suppliers, the sod company has placed a lien on our home. Please exercise extreme caution if you are considering working with this contractor. They are unprofessional, rely heavily on subcontractors, and mislead customers regarding the quality of their work. We fully agree with the negative experiences previously shared by others, such as Jessica H., Alex K. they did the same things again used materials off of their old job. We wish we had seen those warnings prior to hiring this company. We are sharing our experience to help protect others from these dishonest practices.
