Tons of noise in background he couldn't hear me. Put phone somewhere away from kitchen. Ordered brisket platter. How they call this smoked brisket I don't know. What really got us was a male server, young guy, was rude. 4 things we ordered were brought out now how we ordered them (no big deal really burger without cheese, pork without bbq sauce). When we told the server he argued with us! He did not even hear us order. Asked to see receipt for the no cheese on burger. Luckily the order taker remembered my mom saying that. He made a trip back to the table to tell me I ordered the pork wrong. I have to say "no bbq sauce" not no sauce. I politely said I did say that. You weren't there. He told me I didn't. The pulled pork sandwich was good (might have been better if I didn't do take out) and was big (they didn't skimp on the pork). But I was surprised that the corn bread was pre-packaged. For a BBQ place, they should be making their own cornbread, so that was massively disappointing. Plus it was overly sweet with more of a syrup taste instead of honey. I have gotten food from here twice both carryouts and found it to be a great addition to area. I found the meat flavorful and tender. Everyone enjoyed their dinners though they felt the chicken wraps had too much mayo. The sides were good also. The orders were correct and service was prompt. we ordered $83 . The ribs in the pulled pork were good but much barbecue sauce. The chicken and the brisket were very dry. If you remove all the barbecue sauce and try the meat directly it is very under I know it's a new restaurant and I hope get their stuff together. we will try it again in a few months to see if any improvements were made. read more

I hate to harp on this on various sites but I want this place to make it but at this rate it won't. 40 minutes from time you walk in to get food I don't care how good it is people will get fed up. Horrible. Horrible, horrible. Run don't walk away from this place. I ordered a chicken gyro and received a half of an overcooked chicken breast (no more than 2 ounces) with 1/2 of thickly chopped onion, a few tomatoes and a dollop of sour cream. The Cole slaw must have been sitting out for a few days because it was liquified into mush. My husband ordered 6 wings with spicy bbq sauce and received dried out small wings with the most sugary sauce you can imagine. My son and daughter in law also said the sauce overpowered the amount of meat received on their sandwiches. The only person satisfied either way was their meal was a 3 year old that ordered grilled cheese. You can refund me my $73.00 that I paid for this horrible experience. I will tell all my friends not to go. If there was a negative 5 this is what I would give this restaurant. read more

Placing your order is a complete cluster, the attendants working the register taking the orders had no idea what the food was and they didn't have the daily special. The person taking the order must've called for Tony 3-4 times but he was busy goofing off with the others in the back while preparing food. Have tried Hog Wild in Midlothian a few times and found it below average regarding BBQ, pork chop is good but that's it. Tried the new location in New Lenox and had ribs, pulled pork. Pulled pork was good, nothing great but the ribs were terrible, tasted old, fatty, pieces of bone in them. Ordered two Bbq pulled pork sandwiches fries and an order of cheese cubes as a carry out. Five minute drive home. The long style bun is not full of pork nor is there an adequate amount of sauce. Taste is fair to good. Nothing really special. French fries were horrible, cold and hard as nails. Cheese cubes are not cheese cubes, they took mozzarella sticks and cut them in pieces. Tasteless! I was excited that this was coming to New Lenox, they are located in the same strip, literally just feet away, from the best meat market in the area, CP Meat Market. When I found out they weren't sourcing from CP, it blew my mind. Why would I go there when I could just buy the best meat and cook it myself? The lazy part of me kind of gets it, but I'd still rather just buy my meat and cook it. I have heard from a reputable source that this new Hog Wild location doesn't smoke their meat onsite, they import it from somewhere and reheat it. Been there a few times since opening. Pork chop is good, nice atmosphere inside. It ends there. Everything else is average at best and overpriced. The beef brisket was like processed meat from a deli, just terrible. I was recently told they would not support a kids sports organization in the community. If they can't cough up a few bucks for a kids sports organization in their own community, they will not get another penny of mine. I went here one evening for dinner, came while there were so called slow and I've heard many good things about this place. Saying it's all worth the wait. Me and my man sat in the bar and the waitress wasn't checking in on us if we're were ready or anything. Than we probably waited about an hour and a half for our food and by then we were all ready fed up and ready to leave. The waitress gets our food to us and it was cold and just simply disgusting. Hot food is meant to be eating hot and enjoyed hot while we were served cold food. The fries were still not fully cooked the inside was frozen basically. By then time we took the chance to give it another bite we had just gave up and was waiting for our waitress to come back so we can let her know we weren't having a good time. Before all this we ordered an appetizer which we also never received so it was a horrible experience and a god awful dinner.
