I've used Hoffpaiur to service and repair my truck for years and they have always been reliable and honest. I highly recommend them.

We got 2 great deals they even drove the trucks to Austin for us!!! Great service, great salesman. We will be back for our next truck.

Avoid at all costs. I was sold an expensive used truck with low miles. I was told it had the…read moreremaining 50-thousand-mile factory warranty and also told I could extend it to the 100,000-mile warranty when the time came. I kept calling and asking about the warranty info and kept getting the run around. I bought the truck in 2019 and still only have 57,000 miles on it. I went to Killeen to trade in the truck, and they were excited to make a deal. Then after running my Vin I was told that NO dealership would touch the truck since it was made and registered in Canada. This makes all Chevy warranties void. By law dealerships are required to disclose the Canadian issue. I drove straight to speak with Lee who spent most of our conversation bragging about his 23-year-old girlfriend and how his wife wasn't happy. Then Lee passed me off to his sales manager who offered me no end of BS and told me the dealerships were trying to scam me. They wanted to buy my truck. He further told me I did not need a Chevy warranty as I had the "Lee Hoffpauer Guarantee." Sorry but Chevy doesn't cheat on their wife and lie to customers so I would rather go with the Chevy warranty. The sales manager then offered to have a third party buy my truck for 30 grand. He wanted to screw me twice. I told him I can't sell it or trade in in at any dealership and he said that he would give me a letter saying they would buy it for 30 grand. The truck is worth much more than 30 grand. Even the auctions are required to disclose Canadian manufacture by law. I would really prefer not to do this but I am suing them. They will lose as they clearly broke the law. Even the dealership across the street told me I had to sue them. I am not happy to have to do this and I am not someone who sues people normally, but I have no choice. I have a million visitors to my fakebook page yearly and will make sure I get the word out.

This place has the look and feel of a real hotrod Shop but it's not. The super nice and relatable…read morepeople might fool you into trusting them but don't. Although they did complete a portion of the work requested, they branded my vehicle with a permanent company logo which I never approved. They took 14 months and $20,000 to turn out a truck that won't idle, won't get out of first gear, has no parking brake (they cut it off and didn't know how to replace it), the wrong rear-end gears, no neutral safety switch, a sticking accelerator (did I mention there's no parking brake?), and the crappiest gas tank installation I can imagine. They don't return calls, emails, or text messages and in my opinion, use money from paying customers (me) to fund other projects. Their high Facebook rating is undoubtedly due to selective deletion. I wish I'd never done business with them.

I agree with Brian, these guys cannot be trusted.  They do come off as knowing about classic cars…read moreand restoration projects, but the work they turn out is low quality and not done correctly. The shop was doing business as Modern Solutions Speed Shop but is now called Bucket List Auto Sales. In Nov 2016 I took my daily driver classic truck to them for a full cab-off restoration. After 27 months and over $41,000 dollars later, the truck did not even run. They couldn't seem to order the correct parts to get the engine running, original body pieces from the truck went missing while it was at the shop (I was told they were stolen), the paint job had blemishes and dirt particles in it, the fuel tank installation was so bad that the neck of the tank didn't even line up with the hole in the bed, and they couldn't even figure out how to measure the offset of the wheels to see what size wheel was needed. I always paid in advance for parts and it would take months for the parts to arrive and some parts never did arrive. In my opinion, just as Brian said, the shop used my money to fund other projects, most of them were projects that belonged to the shop that they were taking to auctions. I would visit the shop weekly to watch the progress on my truck and sometimes it sat for months and was never touched. I realized that I was wasting my time and money with these guys so I pulled the truck out and took it to another shop to be finished. We had to push it onto the trailer...because as I said, it didn't even run. Now we're having to redo a lot of the work that they had already done because it was either done incorrectly or was unsafe. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.  Rebecca L. stated that most people don't want to pay for the work they want done...well I can assure you that is not the case with me. I always paid for the work and all I got was a low quality product. I feel sorry for anyone that buys a vehicle at an auction that has been worked on by these guys.
