Purely a local establishment, and as delightful as you'd hope a local restaurant would be.
Midweek it wasn't busy, but the proprietor was most friendly. We asked what was special that evening, he checked with the cook, then told us to try the fish stew. We asked about dessert, and he said no - we wouldn't have room after the stew.
It's a nice place, not small, with a prominent bar area, a side room, and outside seating. Our Grimberg beers were great, then the fish stew came. Delicious. A variety of fishes, all so fresh. No shell fishes, just delicious chunks of fishes, under a tangy melted cheese.
If you're in this area, it's a good choice. Probably not a destination, and you'll be subject to whatever they're cooking that day. But for us, it was just what we wanted. read more
