Recently, my domestic water pump system failed and would not deliver water from my well. After troubleshootinbg the fuses, tank, and pressure switch, I realized I needed a service call. I contacted Hodgdon Well Drilling in Minot, Maine. I reached Scott Hodgdon, owner and technician with 37 years of field experience with this comnpany (founded by his father). Scott was here by 6:30 pm, and in half an hour, had bench tested the components, installed a new capacitor, and retested the system .... running water was restored !! Scott is competent and professional, and the labor and parts were reasonable and fair. I'll use Hodgdon Well Drilling again and confidently recommend them to others. read more

Awesome company! When my water pressure tanked, Scott talked me through how to navigate the root of the problem by phone. Came out a couple days later to diagnose the problem and assess what needed to be done for an accurate quote. I was able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner and have the job done within the week. He was knowledgeable and explained everything to me, very personable. Did not even bother calling me back. I get it if people are out straight but at least have the decency to call someone back when they are without water. Thankfully found another company to come and they were awesome, called me right back and squeezed me in to get us up and running again read more
